Hi,
I am quite new to wordpress and buddypress. I have installed WP 4.2.1 and BP 2.2.3.1 on a subdomain. I have also installed the buddyboss theme. When users click to register i get a “internal server error”
I have tried deactivating the Buddyboss theme but this error still occurs. But when i deactivate Buddypress users can register with no issues at all. I can also create users from wp-admin without any issues.

Topic: Buddy Press – Blank Pages
Hello there,
I am writing as since wordpress updated last night apparently our groups and members in buddy press disappeared. As you imagine this is a quiet serious matter, and after having deactivated all the other plugins still all the Buddypress pages is blank.
The theme we are using includes buddypress support, so I was quite disappointed with that!I contacted the theme already, but if anyone has had the same experience I’d love some more help.

Hi,
I noticed that on my BuddyPress site, if a logged-out user views the site from a desktop browser, there is a “Register” and “Login” link displayed on the toolbar.
However, on a mobile phone, there is only a plain black bar when viewed in portrait mode, and only the WordPress icon on the left if viewed in Landscape mode. The links are missing from the toolbar.
This is regardless of the theme used.
How may I get the links to show up on the mobile browser?

I have a current WordPress site that I am trying to build that already has content and plugins. I tried to install BuddyPress but it conflicts. Does BuddyPress require its own independent WP site? If so, should I create a subdomain site? That would be a subdomain to my add-on domain. LOL Thanks in advance!
Current site is an add-on domain. Until adding BuddyPress, going good.

The activation link just took me to the homepage. Ideally it would auto log you in and take you to the activity or profile page. Is this possible?
If not I would be happy to simply have a message on the homepage saying, “Your account is now activated. Please login here”. Does anyone know how this would be implemented?

but in the Dashboard of the back-end of my site is always appear this sentence: “Each BuddyPress Component needs its own WordPress page. The following WordPress Pages have more than one component associated with them: Comunity. Repair”.
I don’t know how to repair.
What should I do?

WWTuan from Tokyo.I am running the current versions of everything as of today’s date… BuddyPress 2.2.3, bbPress 2.5.7 on WordPress 4.1.1
The problem I am having is that, for the most part, I only want either Public or Hidden groups with their associated forums.
The directory listing only displays the public groups and the forums only display the public forums.
As a Site Admin and Keymaster, I can’t even see the hidden groups (although the count increases to show the additional number of hidden groups). In fact, none of the hidden groups show under the ‘My Groups’ tab for me or any user who is a member of a particular hidden group (although the count indicates that they area member of this non-visible group that they can’t get access to). I can see the forums, however.
Essentially, the Hidden function appears to not be working for groups and forums as neither admins nor members of them can gain access without being provided with the URL.

http:Truckerbook.clubI had this honeypot working perfect before. Now I made a custom register page and it’s no longer working for no reason. All I did was move the bp-legacy Buddypress to the /buddypress folder to create a child theme for edits. Everything is working besides the honeypot.

Hi there,
I’ve been looking for awsners all day but cant seem to find them.
We use Buddypress on a new website and everything works fine, we love it and will start using it soon when the site goes live.Problem at this moment is when we head over to the group page, on the right site there is create new groep. Step 1 (works) Titel and description. After this step nothing works we only see go back, move forward button and no information or anything we can enter. When we click on go further we get an error (WordPress error do you wish to continue)
after step 1 we get this:
when we click continue nothing happends (WP error)
I deleted the buddypress plugin and uploaded it again on FTP.
I disabled all other plugins.Any idea?
I am using WordPress 4.1.1 and just updated to the most recent version of Buddypress, although this problem existed on the version I was using before as well (2.2.1). I am using a custom theme, so it’s possible that is the problem, but I just want to make sure.
The problem that I am having is that when I go to a user’s activity stream and create a new post, and then click on the comment button, a text area appears. But as soon as I refresh the site, the textarea will not reappear–the comment button changes to its hover color (and does not change back) but nothing else changes when clicked. So basically, the only time a user can comment is when the post has been just created and possibly just on his or her own post, it seems. I have been doing some customization in bp-custom, but none of it has related to comments in any way. Do you have any suggestion for where to look for the problem? Honestly, I’d rather the comment textarea just show all the time than have a completely useless comment button.
Otherwise, I’m looking for some insight into what the problem may be or at the very least how the comment button functions. Thanks!
