What’s the exact code your using?

@nahummadrid In general, template files used:
1. index.php file – move link to author into post meta then replace the author-box div with your new post thumbnail div
2. functions.php – add support for post thumbnail
3. theme’s stylesheet – add styles (e.g. float: left;) to your post thumbnail div and margin for your post title, post meta and post content
4. (optional) archive.php, tags.php, category.php, search.php etc.

Their’s currently no built in screen to do it because BuddyPress inherits some of the WordPress’ philosophy’s Including Decisions not Options “It’s our duty as developers to make smart design decisions and avoid putting the weight of technical choices on our end users.”

Though, it might be a good enhancement ticket in trac.

What theme are you using? WP/BP versions? Did you install WP via webhost script or manually e,g. via FTP? Have you done basic troubleshooting like deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress and changing to bp-default theme?

@teorourke you need to go through Step 3 of the BP Compatibility process i.e., change/adjust the HTML structure of the BP template files transferred to your theme’s folder to the HTML structure of your WP Swagger theme.

If you need assistance, open up your swagger theme’s header.php, copy all, paste at pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated URI here. Do the same for your theme’s index.php, page.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files.

@marisaj85 If you set WP Multisite installation in Network Admin > Settings – Allow New Registrations – with “Both sites and user accounts may be registered”, then your members will be able to create new blogs. It might just be your “membership functionality” which is interfering with the new blog/subsite creation. Contact the developer who made that “membership functionality” to resolve this issue.

Check dashboard menu Settings > General – Membership – Anyone can Register? –> set it to Yes. If is set on Yes. Click on Save again.

Check dashboard menu Settings > Privacy settings – Site Visibility –> Set it to default where the site is open to everyone. Even on default setting, click on Save.
