It’s still local on my computer running on MAMP, fresh install, one blog post, one comment, 2 members, one group and one forum topic.
I will try tomorrow on a Live server maybe that works better. I’m very new with BuddyPress just before building an entire site on top of it i would like to know if i can get the same speeds and stability as WP is giving me.
Else i’m maybe doing a lot of work while it’s useless.

Not sure this what this question has to do with BuddyPress – is there a reason why you haven’t asked it on the wordpress.org forums for the plugins?
It sounds like a more general problem with your server, rather than anything to do with bbPress or BuddyPress – best to refer it to your hosting provider.
To remove bbPress – you can ftp to your plugins directory and delete the bbPress folder.
I already have Buddypress installed on my wordpress theme. After I install bbpress, I can’t access my dashboard anymore. When I click on dashboard I get this message:
Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.
. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
How do I fix this?!
Throw this in your bp-custom.php file to fix the glitch:
remove_filter( ‘bp_get_the_profile_field_value’, ‘xprofile_filter_link_profile_data’, 9 );
No idea who thought it was a good idea to automatically apply hyperlinks to all profile field content, or why. To make it worse, the priority number was changed in a recent release of BuddyPress, which is why the fix from @modemlooper no longer worked.

Recently after upgrading to wordpress 3.4 + buddypress. I was always able to e-mail my subscribers, however, when I try to use the group option to e-mail my subscribers with the “email users” plugin, I get a blank page. Tried to install e-mail users 2, plugin and when I proceed to send I get the following message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/privatee/public_html/wp-content/plugins/emu2-email-users-2/emu2_send_group_mail.php on line 1
Any suggestions?

@mercime, I’m pretty sure it’s always been this way, it didn’t bother me before until now that more people login and posts only from their blogs.
@nahummadrid Did this occur on your installation only recently, i.e., after upgrade to WP 3.4/BP1.5.6?

first of all i’m currently using WordPress 3.4, my own theme, BuddyPress with BP-Template-Pack Plugin to integrate it to my own theme.
I have some problems with groups in BuddyPress.
1. Step 3 to choose your group avatar in “Create group” is empty.
2. I can’t send friend requests because i don’t see members of my friendlist when my account is not activated per mail. i’m using the plugin “unconfirmed” to activate users in my admin panel. But also it don’t work for my admin account.
3. I can’t see group members list with any account type, only my admin account is showing up, when he is in group. from other account will buddypress call me that there are nothing accounts in group.
How to fix it, please help. Thanks

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
Is it just they way it’s coded? Because i can’t find why WordPress or BuddyPress is not loading from the start but always waits a little while and after that it loads the site.
I’ve enabled Gzip, Minify, (JS-/CSS) Cache, only 2 Grav’s on page, and optimized my Database but still i can’t get it underneath 1.4.seconds to load
I know this sounds crazy because 1.4 seconds is very nice the only problems is that 1.4S isn’t the loading time 70% of this 1.4S is just waiting to get started with loading.
Strange i can’t find it and solve it.

@bobscott the permalinks have not been fixed. Deactivate BuddyPress and change to Twenty Eleven theme, then resolve the permalinks issue on your Windows server at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
@lakhlu you have a different theme from theme-junkie, so the instructions here won’t be applicable to your theme as I see by the misalignment e.g. at http://kinogrill.org/members/gaba12/
Start a new topic and include your theme’s codes for header.php, sidebar.php, etc like stunod85 provided above.

Oh, ok @modemlooper. I thought it was a glitch because there is no pattern to what or why it selects certain text. On the surface it just seems totally random. I’ll give your remove_filter() a try.

I tried all the Google Maps plugins for BP, BC Maps seems to be perfect for my needs but with 0 documentation I don’t know wich fields I have to add on members profile…
BP User Profile Map: works fine but it’s only to put a map on each members profile, there’s no global map with all the members on one map only.
BuddyPress Maps: doesn’t works
BP Members Avatar map: could be perfect but works only with LAT and LON and I need the plugin works with cities names
My needs :
A map with all the members on it. To put themself on the map members will have to fill a field called “Location” with their cities name or adress
An idea ?
