In the standard WordPress profile you can add a bios and contact details for Twitter etc. However I don’t see those details in the PB profile. How can I get them there?
I can’t find the answer to this anywhere. I have a profile group named “hidden” with xprofile fields that are used by me to track hidden information about users. I can prevent this profile group from displaying while viewing the profile, but not while editing the profile. In the members/single/edit.php file, there’s a function bp_profile_group_tabs() that displays the profile group buttons. Does anyone know how I hide one of those?

http://www.thecharlottechurch.orgHey guys
I’m using bp_member_profile_data to get extended profile fields like location, about, education, etc. This all works fine within a members profile page.
I want to use this in a sidebar on a page outside of the /members section, within the root of the site. It doesn’t seem to show any data when I include it elsewhere.
Is there a way to do this outside?
Thanks,
Ian
bp community – I am sure this is probably something simple to do but I can not find a “how to” anywhere on how to do this: when I “add new field group” to my profile groups, it basically adds that field to the end – how to I reorder where I want that field to show up?
Thanks in advance!
Hello, I just installed buddypress but one option I didn’t find out. That is I want to import all profile fields with previously stored users profile information from Default wordpress (wp-admin/profile.php) profile page to buddypress profile.
How can I do this?
I am using Latest WordPress and buddypress

Where do I select the field group to display on the public profile? For example, under ‘dashboard/user/profile fields’, I set up a group called ‘public profile’. How do I get those fields to show up on the public page?Hi There,
is there a way to have two different type of members (People/Companies) with different profile fields and member lists?
Thanks,
TFHello,
I am really struggling with trying to display info on a users profile that comes from checkbox fields in the registration process using Gravity forms registration addon and xprofile fields.
I have tried numerous code samples none of them working:
http://pastebin.com/iuv3FZVE
and
http://pastebin.com/up6cXnBgWas looking around on Google and found the function: maybe_serialize … not sure if this is something I should be using or not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I think I have invested close to 6 hours on just trying to call this data and output on the page, and found many requests online for similar scenario with no working answers for BP 1.6.2 / WP 3.5
Thank you!
