is there a way to have a user select which member type they would like to be during registration and have it automatically reflect in the Dashboard (versus having to manually change each new user registration)?
For example, I have two Member Types: Coaches and Sportsmen. Can I link an xProfile field from the Registration page to automatically reflect which option they choose?
Hello,
I need to remove or hide the login and registration buttons on my site.
We use the Sweet Date themeHello everyone,
I came across related discussions about this topic but didn’t find a real solution.I have a Multisite and I have Buddypres installed on my main site, which resposnsible to send a welocme emails and handling the users.
The problem is that after new user registration – the user gets 2 welcome emails:
1- is styled sent from Buddypress
2 – unstyled default wordpress “Welcome User Email”I want to disable the default welcome email but only for the user (I still want to get notified about new users)
Please don’t point me to install a plugin or link for irrelevant solutions (like I saw on other related discussions).
Maybe it’s not Buddypress specific issue but i hoped someone can help with that, I need your help guys….
Are there plugins – social login that are compatible with the widget BuddyPress -> Enter the site?
I need a quick registration for people.
Thanks.
Hello,
My site have many types of visitors, I assigned new registrations as “X” user role type and would like only those users to be shown in members directory, also only them can participate in activities and posting.
I have read on how to hide other member through a code. this to me is exclusion and it is hard to code because i have many user roles to exclude.
I need direct solution, and appreciating your support.
I have three signup fields that look identical. This phenomenon is displayed on the registration page, as well as in the signup fields tab from the admin side (users/profile fields).
I can reorder them and edit them, but not delete them. Please help.Buddypress version 9.1.1
Wordpress 5.8 multisite configuration (all the sites are displaying the error, example linked below)Hello guys.
To test some plugins I thought of deleting the registered users (profiles that I had previously created some time ago).
It happened that when I recreated the same profiles, the activation email did not arrive.
Before it came with the wordpress email @ site name …. despite not having an active email sending plugin.
In another case I tried to change the password and he returned the registration form (unregistered users are redirected to the registration form) but when I did to register with the email the message that the email comes out is in use (strange if it does not appear among registered users).I thought of going to the dashboard then customize to see if there was something out of place and I noticed that there is no longer the possibility to make any changes.
Could you give me some advice on this?
Thank you
Is it possible to habe fields in the WooCommerce Billing Page that fill BuddyPress users (profiles)
I want them to fill in the billing page of WooCommerce and on the same page fill in their age, which should end up in BuddyPress XProfiles. How do i add a field to the billing page that updates a profile in BuddyPress?
-I would need a field that sets their age (number). For those i filled in manually i see the value set in the database field_id 25.
-a radiobutton wether they are male of female,
-and a multi selectbox for province.
I can display fields on the billing page, but they don’t update Buddypress. Any suggestions ?Topic: User Bio Info in Profile
I am using the User Registration plugin as I was having some issues with the BP registration page. However, upon clicking the user on the BP ‘Members’ page, I do not see the ‘Biographical info’ in the profile tab. I only see the name, country. I have added a text box in the User Registration form for the bio info and the info is being correctly recorded in WP but is not appearing in the BP profile.
Please help.
Thanks
Hello,
in our registration form we have two areas with the following fields (all required):
Account details (WordPress):
– field “user name”
– field “email”
– field “choose a password”
– field “repeat chosen password”Profile details (BuddyPress):
– field “name”
– field “first name”
– field “last name”Actually we don’t need the fields “user name” (WordPress) and “name” (BuddyPress).
We want to use only first name and last name (no user name, name, nickname, whatever). Is that possible?
With that we want to make the registration easier to our users and we also want to sort the members directory according to the last name. Is that also possible?
Best regards
Good morning.
For several days I have a problem that consists in the possibility of extracting from the site I am creating the data entered by users in the registration / registration form, in which I have added several fields with the BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types plugin.
I have tried several plugins and all of them only allow you to extract the base fields. I am wondering if the add fields plugin allows you to add other fields as base fields why do the plugins I have tried do not recognize these fields as base fields?
The creator of one of the plugins used told me that the additional fields do not end up in the database or are not considered as metadata because buddypress uses its own tables.
So how can I do to extract user data into a single csv or excel file?
It is strange that this function does not happen as a basic function of buddypress …The extraction plugins used are:
LH Buddypress Export Xprofile Data
LH Export Users to CSV
Import users and customers from CSV
WordPress Users & WooCommerce Customers Import Export (BASIC)I hope there will be some users who can help me.
Thank youThe thing is, every time I activate a certain theme, the registration page is modified, that is, the theme has some CSS code or some other code that is modifying the registration page, the question is, how to know where it is this code? and how to disable it?
I’m using youzify’s registration page, it works fine, but when I activate a theme, the registration page changes to another design, I have a suspicion that the theme is modifying the registration page, so I want to know the following , how can I get the customization that this theme is doing with my registration page? where do i go to see this?
before theme

after theme
BuddyPress 9.0
This is my scenario. I want only the user to input his/her username and email upon registration. Later he/she can update his/her profile once registered. My Problem is I cant see the other field group in the profile, which have all the needed fields, only the base field group is there.
I am following this documentation, https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/guides/modifying-the-registration-form/. Is there additional steps to do?
Topic: Registration Page
Hi,
I am using the theme OceanWP and Elementor. My problem is that even when I choose full width for my registration page (individual page setting), BuddyPress seems to be inserting a sidebar on the right. When I set the wide layout for the entire site (which I do not want) in the Customize-General Settings, the sidebar disappears. However, the text boxes become very wide and span almost the entire page and this looks ugly. I cannot access the registration page using elemetor unless I disconnect it from BuddyPress. But, even then I do not see any text boxes on the page. I believe this is so because BuddyPress dynamically puts in the text boxes when a user visits the page. How then can I reduce the width of the text boxes in the registration page (keeping only that page’s setting as full width and not for the whole site) and also format the registration page? I do have the BuddyBuilder plugin but it does not show the registration page.
Thanks
I have this problem for days now, No matter what I do, I just cant make the order of fields the same as, the primary group, I don’t understand why the “Mobile No” field gets on the top, when it should be at the bottom. I already drag it to the very bottom but on page refresh it goes back to the top. Can someone shed some light on me. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. There are more fields that I am going to use, I remove them temporarily to better illustrate my problem.
Hi Guys,
I have a serious concern. I am unable to edit my registration form on the Bakery Builder. When you look on my page you’ll see that there’s not register button and half of the profile content has just disappeared. It was working before! But now I can’t edit the page to fix it because the bakery builder editor doesnt load. I have tested all plugins to find the cause and when I turn buddypress off the builder then loads but there’s no content because the content is on buddypress. Super confusing! Need urgent help please.
Here’s my page https://member.myinnerinfluence.com/register/
Thanks in advance, looking forward to your response.
