Reply To: Installed, but nothing showing
I’m looking at a video on You Tube and my BuddyPress Setting page looks different. …. I don’t have a Forums tab in my BP Settings window.
@mark-gordon That’s an old video. Forums are now installed via the bbPress plugin https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/
Have I got a faulty installation? What am I missing? All help welcomed!
@sencerim Since BP 1.7, BP is compatible with most WP themes i.e., if you go to your site’s Members page for example, you’ll see the BP member directory component on that page. If you’re not seeing the Member’s directory using the slug/page name you used for it, try changing to the BP Default theme in Apperance > Themes and navigate to the members directory page or the component pages you have activated.
