In reply to: Roadmap 1.2 / some features are not that urgent
I do not want to push anyone or anything.
Sorry, it was just my suggestion.
It looks like I have been wrong with it…….
In reply to: Viewing item 1 to 0 (of 22 items)yeah, it´s working fine now.
thanks !
In reply to: Viewing item 1 to 0 (of 22 items)no, I strongly doubt this option is in the widget-settings……

In reply to: confirmation e-mail landing in SPAM-folder ?Thank you !
But what is the name of the file at which I can change and customize the text of the “confirmation e-mail ?
In reply to: BP-tricks.com (BuddyPress tuts)cool idea Bowe !
go ahead, but just do not spend too much time in creating a theme for it.
The most important thing is good and correct tutorials & content in regards to this.
Definitely, marketing-tips would be very valuable.
well, I actually do not want to explain my users how to use “[ ]” brackets.
I guess I will turn it off completely. Is there just a button within Admin-interface to turn this thing off or do I need to hire a programmer to help me in achieving this ?
Thanks for your feedback !
In reply to: You know you spend TOO much time with BP if….well, I am checking my website every five minutes in order to see if any new users have signed up

unfortunately, not many users yet and not many signing up……
In reply to: Facebook Connectmy own page, and also the page “testbp.org” is sometimes loading very very long because of this Facebook-connect.
It seems like it is hard to get the online-connection to FaceBook ?
In reply to: Forums on testbp.org is just too confusingI have to say that the forum at “buddypress.org” is much more user-friendly than at “testbp.org”
Not sure why, but it truly is……
In reply to: noreply@domain.comthis is a usability-bug.
I have posted the following TRAC-ticket:
In reply to: Images allowedHey Marius,
you sure are a great developer, as you have improved the code for the BP-Event-plugin, etc.
Are you able to help on such media-features as well ?
I do hope the BP-Event-plugin (or any other Event-code) will make it into the core-code (like in a way that the admin can switch this feature on when he needs it…..)
In reply to: Create Breadcrumb navigationcan we get Bread-Crumbs into each page, so that the user will immediately see at which page he currently is ?
In reply to: @user notation: A Feature SuggestionO.K.
fine with me
In reply to: @user notation: A Feature Suggestion1)
why do I have to write “@stwc” in this post after all, so that everbody knows I am replying to YOUR post ?
2)
If we would have THREADED-forums, THREADED wires, etc. than I would not need to write “@somebody” all the time…..instead DIRECTLY replying to your post.
3)
your suggestion might be a nice feature for young Twitter-geeks, but I do not think that the average user would even understand this feature.
Just check out the following forum and you will see what “intuitive” means:

4)
probably we could have both ? Your feature and also threaded-items ? Combining those two things would be great !
KISS
In reply to: BuddyPress Privacy Component: An Updategreat news Jeff !!!
…it seems you are woking “behind the scenes” as well…..
just kidding
In reply to: next release dates for BP 1.1.3 / BP 1.2 ?In reply to: How to display avatars in normal theme at 125px?In reply to: fullname vs username vs first + last name…Hi Mike,
I still would like to know whether it would work to tell my users to write their “First Name” and their “Last Name” into ONE field called “Name” ?
like, e.g. putting the full name “John Smith” into the “Name”-field.
Typically my users would type “John space Smith”.
Will this be working technically (including the space) ?
In reply to: fullname vs username vs first + last name…Thanks JJJ,
so if I understand correctly, I could tell my users to insert “First-name and Last-name” into the field called “Name” ?
Would this work technically ?
In reply to: fullname vs username vs first + last name…so why is “username” , “e-mail” and “password” not sufficient ?
Why do we need an additional field called “Name” ?
Sorry, I do not get it…….
Question:
can I skip this “Name”-field from my website or will I run into trouble if I do so ?
Thanx
In reply to: Multi-thread Wiresthanks Andy, good to hear !
THREADED = INTUITIVE
