@demetrius-pop ah the permissions problem. For the multisite installation, activating BuddyPress network-wide resolved that for me.
Deactivate BP – from main site or subsite dashboard. Then go to Network Admin > Plugins and activate BuddyPress there. This will activate BP in main site by default. If you want BP in secondary site (subsite), add the following to your wp-config.php file before activating BuddyPress network-wide:
define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, 3 );
change 3 to the blog ID where you want BP installed.
You would want to look at how creating pages, slugs, along with front-end posting are done within the member’s profile section in theBuddyBlog plugin. It’s a bit more than what you need, but you’ll get the drift when you look at the code.
@cikez Glad you resolved the issue and thanks for posting back on what caused it đ Good to know that theme compat is working even in Artisteer themes.
WP/BP versions? Single/Multisite install? Have you done some basic troubleshooting like changing to BP default theme or deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress?
This has been resolved. The issue was there was a space in the folder name of the theme but BuddyPress was looking for the custom css file WITHOUT the spaces. To resolve this I just renamed the theme folder to not have spaces in it.
Well, the next day, I was able to log in again. However, I still am not able to run the wizard install. It still says no access privilege.
I installed the plugin in the main admin of my multi-site. I will try and deactivate all other plugins. I have tried installing on the main site, as well as subsites.
I also installed buddypress on a standard WordPress install, and it works fine. I was able to run the install wizard, settings, and the whole nine yards. It’s wonderful by the way.
Hi everyone, this is my first time trying to use Buddypress (I am familiar with WP). I have a local fresh install of WP 3.5.1, Buddypress 1.7b2 using MAMP. Works great. As soon as I load and install bbPress, I get a white screen and cannot access my WP install. If I manually remove the bbPress plug in everything works again.
If anyone can point to things I can trouble shoot that would be great.

Should i create a community in http://theme.firmasite.com/ ? Its a network itself so i can install buddypress and open registration etc. I couldnt decide on this actually but i generally hate registering to lots of site for able to get support. If i dont change my mind, i am thinking to give support on wordpress.org’s forums because everyone have account in there.
What do you guys think about registering a site for getting support?
yeah that’s what i was referring to also i think the site activity looks a bit different in networks sort of tough for me to navigate your site since it’s not in english but i’ll check out the video later thanks again for sharing!
I can give you more example if i can understand which sections you want to see. Only additional features for multisite networks i remember now is blogs list in buddypress.
if you mean WordPress Multisite with “network environment”; My all sites are built on multisite. For example main site is:  http://yerleske.net/  and http://unsalkorkmaz.com/ is one of sub-domain.
I’ve just got problem on my buddypress while creating groups.
When I clicked on the create group it will redirect me to the page not found.
Currently im using. wp 3.5.1 and bp 1.6.4.
Tried to recreate permalinks -> fail
Tried to deactivate activate plugin -> fail
Tried to disable all plugin except buddypress and akismet -> fail
Tried to use default theme -> fail
Tried to Deleted Bp and reinstall back -> fail
Tried to deleted Bp and the database table and reinstall back -> fail
Now quite frustrated and the server is Linux, Apache, Mysql.
