Darwin theme has not been updated for 2 years. Second, the child theme theme does not have the required widget areas in footer.php.
You can copy over buddypress/bp-themes/footer.php to replace Darwin’s footer.php file but you just might have to style the footer widget areas.
i want a log out redirect function, whr i can redirect my logout to any page… better still with a page that can set logout value to true
example… buddypress/wp-login?logout = true
same page but different content.. would like to do that for me index.php
@andy0007, @hnla has got it right. You have BP template folders in your theme. Delete the 6 BP folders and see what happens (crossing fingers) 🙂

I can use CSS and I use to make WordPress themes by myself but I don’t know how to make a theme for Buddypress, that’s why I made a layout using Lubith.com. And when I was installing Buddypress it asked if I wanted to change my theme and I said no so it said it edited it to make it work with Buddypress. And it works but the only thing that doesn’t work is the sidebar. I tried changing the code again but this doesn’t work. What should I do?

That means theme code is checked by theme reviewers and its trustworthy. You can download from WordPress.Org soon. Meanwhile you can explore theme or download from http://theme.firmasite.com/
For starters you have a critical markup error in a misplaced closing div this will not only throw out most browsers ability to render a layout but makes tracking down any other issues pointless until it’s rectified.
Can you confirm that you haven’t originally attempted to run the template pack plugin on this theme to get it BP compatible as those BP pages do not feel like ‘theme compat’ ones. You don’t have any BP template files moved into your theme do you?
I have changed my site URL from and internal IP (http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx) to an external (www.example.com) in WordPress and all the main pages are accessible with this new URL. I can open the buddypress members page (www.example.com/members) and see a list of all the members. However, when clicking on an individual member the link reverts back to the old URL (http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/members/name) rather than (www.example.com/members/name) which i need. This also happens with the list of groups and forums.
I’ve done things like changing the site URL in the wp-config.php file, changed the site URL in the database.
Any help would be great.

Why?
The theme you chose is a BuddyPress enabled, aware theme; you do not need to or want to run the template pack on it.
I would just delete the ‘Custom Community’ theme and install a fresh copy and start over.
Will somebody help me? its been over a week that am posting in different forums in buddypress support but i think no body even looking what i am asking.

hi, im using sahifa theme and i have the same issue with sidebars.
need to remove sidebars from all buddypress pages . i fallow this guide but i get stuck deleting the 6 folders … which ones ?
or is there any other way to just disable the sidebars for all buddypress pages? …

This is my son’s non-profit organization (he’s 13 and just incorporated in Florida), so I really need help undoing what I did to crap out his blog.
Again, any and all help would be greatly appreciated (and is desperately needed).
Its auctiontheme by sitemile, and no I haven’t used the template pack. Its not a buddypress ready theme.
