thanks @modemlooper but i have werry litle knowledge of ths field and i dont think i can do it , i need steep by steep instructions or i need to find someone to doit for me . i dont mind to pay anyone who can doit .
BuddyPress profile fields do show by default when you visit a profile. So, it sounds like either your theme, or a plugin is causing the problem.
Did you create your profile fields from the BuddyPress menus in wp-admin?
The most likely candidate for the problem sounds like the plugin you are using to add buttons and maps to the user profiles.
Try deactivating that plugin – do the profile fields show?
Try switching to bp-default theme – do the profile fields show?
If they are still not showing — deactivate all your plugins except BuddyPress, use the default theme, and go to the Profile Fields section in wp-admin … are they definitely set up correctly in there? Are privacy settings correct? Do the profile fields show now in the front end?
By breaking your search down for a solution step by step like this, you’ll be able to determine what is causing the problem (your theme or one of your plugins).
To change text in BuddyPress you need to create a language file. You don’t have to translate to another language you can still use english. It’s a way to change words without fear of upgrading and loosing changes later on.
You can also try increasing your PHP memory (as indicated by the error message you’ve received)… you should then be able to run BuddyPress without problem on your site.
There are many ways to increase PHP memory (including some specific to WordPress)… please have a Google to find those.

It sounds like you want to create a directory page for all the pages on your site… is that correct?
The BuddyPress directories only exist for BuddyPress components like groups, members, etc.
The pages on your site are just standard WordPress pages. If you want to create a directory page that lists them all, you would need to write your own template file with a custom WP_Query loop that just returns pages, or perhaps use a WordPress API function to return all pages.

With these instructions i get eg: domain.com/register full load of theme but empty page/post page or domain.com/index.php/register stripped CSS version but registration of BP appears
(checked nginx rules, also default BP theme works like a charm)

most of buddypress content is generated by wordpress. So the Media settings can give you what you need.
That said, where do you want a video upload possibility ? And what king of videos ? Yours orfrom users, or some videotube service ?
Is there any buddypress plugin to upload video files………

The date picker profile field on BuddyPress doesn’t allow you to specify a range (from wp-admin).
2037 is a PHP upper date limit.
You would have to write some PHP code to modify your registration templates to support this.
OK, better question, anybody successsfully deactivate their BBpress forums and successfully activate the buddypress sitewide for forums? I am using worpress 3.4 + Buddypress 1.5.2 and here is an example of my site from the bbpress install:

I uninstalled buddypress forums and integrated bbpress 2.0, installed a plug in that let users have a forum signature. Now the question is every time a user click on his/her avatar, he/she is taken to buddypress profile. I installed a plug in that promises to override buddypress dominance but for no avail. Now the only option left to do this is typing mydomain.com/forums/members/userid to edit the profile and to input a signature. Its ugly. How can I do this in an elegant and a more professional way?
PS: I dont want to go back to default forum installation and Like to stay this way since it (bbpress) lets unregistered users have some sayings in the forum
Can someone please help with how to show up the custom profile fields that we make for registration? I don’t understand to be honest, why they are called “profile fields” if they are not for showing up automatically on the profile, but I’d greatly appreciate if someone could tell me if it’s some sort of code I need to enter and where exactly I need to enter it to make them show up?
I’d like all of my base profile fields to show up as I’ll be running a private site.
P.S. (off topic) Is it just me or is the buddypress.org site search facility just completely broke? It just always sends me to the blog….

Hi everyone!
My web host has upgraded their servers and is requesting old customers to move to the new servers. So far, everything sounds good. The new server is a lot better than the old ones.
They’re giving us a 2 week window to test that everything will work fine on the new server. I’m in that process now. My site is running WP 3.3.2 and BP 1.5.5.
I’ve tested all pages and everything works fine except that all forum posts are gone. Also, the “Forums”-page takes about 20 seconds to load. All other pages loads quickly. I’m unable to post any new discussions and get an error message when I try to do that.
First I tried clicking “Use existing bbPress installation” but that didn’t work. Still no posts on the forums page. I’ve also tried re-installing the bbPress groups forum components in the BuddyPress settings with the same result.
Could the fact that I’m unable to post new topics be due to a permissions error? The absolute pathway on the new server did change, I changed that setting to fix the missing avatars after the move.
@mercime, I found something interesting…
So I created a page called “test”. While I was creating the page, I noticed in the Page Attributes that there are three options: Default Template, BuddyPress – Activity Directory, and Sidebar Template.
When I saved as Activity Directory, the page showed up like my members page with the sidebar under the content. When I saved as Sidebar Template, the sidebar showed up correctly like it does on the homepage. When I tried to save as Default Template, I got a 406 error.
Is my thinking wrong that when BuddyPress created the members pages, it saved them as Default Template as it had no way of knowing that there were options for the page saves?
The even more strange part is when I go into the BuddyPress created Members Page, I can save as Sidebar Template and BuddyPress – Activity Directory, but no matter what it’s saved at, it doesn’t change. The looks of the design stays the same. (Also, I think that the “default template” is just the Activity Directory template.)
So, I have no clue on what to do. I can’t seem to save/change the Page Attributes of the BuddyPress created pages.
Also, I’ve noticed that with the most recent WordPress update, I’ve been getting more and more 406 errors. Is this something I should contact my hosting company about?
