I installed WP with Twenty Eleven 1.2 theme then added Event Manager plugin and a voting plugin. I also made my home page static and added a renamed blog page. At that point the only problem I discovered was that profiles no longer had avatars. Now that I have installed BuddyPress I have several new apparently blank pages including profiles for subcribers and a warning and fatal error for Event Manager.
How can I tell if my theme is BP Compatible and if the probelems I now have are theme related or plugin incompatibilities?Hey guy,
Just looking for some help ( which im sure is completely simple im just not looking in the right place.) with registration on buddy press. I am running the newest version of WP and buddypress 1.5 on bluehost. the site that i am doing it on is enlivenstores.com and I am not getting an activation email sent to me. can someone help me out?

Looking at the files and folders after buddypress.. i cannot seem to find the BP core files and then BP-core-template.
A message says “Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in ” when doing a child theme of buddypress. My newly created theme cannot access activity, member etc. Please help.
I just upgraded to BP 1.5 and running WP 3.2.1. i was able to do that by commenting out buddypress/bp-core.php line 43

But I thought I’d try to approach it different and see if anyone could suggest a way to force the info back into place.
Over the years, something has happened on my bp multisite installation where some sites belonging to user_id=1 (superadmin) don’t appear in the sites loop for user_id=1. I suspect the wp_bp_user_blogs table which over time i’ve noticed sites drop and not come back after running a BP upgrade. So now at the latest version, I’m missing sites that belong to the superadmin when looking for them for BP components and in the sites loop, even after setting the adminuser role to Adminstrator.
Wondering if there is a way to force that table to get updated with the current sites and their adminstrators, once and for all.
This morning I installed buddypress, but had to put off integration until later. Now, when I try to sign on to wordpress and I enter my password, I am redirected to the homepage but am not logged in. I went through password reset via email, but even with the new password, end up on the home page.
Any ideas what might be the issue?
Do you think I should just delete the whole thing and start over?

When I friend request, it sends the friend request but throws the following error:
