Topic: Job Board
Hi,
is anyone of u already using a Job Board on his/her Community?
I found more or less two promising WordPress solutions:
2. http://www.dailywp.com/jobpress-wordpress-theme/
The wpjobads.com solution seems to be a plugin, which isn’t modifying any WP core files.
The dailywp.com solution seems to be a complete theme, which shouldn’t be a problem, as long as it doesn’t require any altering of the original WP core files.
I’m especially interested if someone has experience with the dailywp.com JobPress Theme. It really does look feature rich and simple in the same way. Asking myself if it has to be used with a single installation of wordpress, or if it would be possible to use it with wpmu and buddypress?
I’m using WP MU version 2.7.1 and BuddyPress 1.0.1. I installed correctly, and it all works fine, except when I click the ‘members’ on the menu, it doesn’t work properly.
Initially it should show the “all members” page, like this
but it shows broken profile page. here is the link.

Can anyone give me a comment about this issue? Thank you.
If I try to activate this plugin I get this error:
Warning: require() [function.require]: Unable to access /data/wwwcust/sv3-4/html/wp-content/plugins/bp-example/bp-example-classes.php in /data/wwwcust/sv3-4/html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-skeleton-component/bp-example.php on line 93

Hi,
I’ve installed WPMU and BuddyPress. Everything functioning ok, but image upload doesn’t work. I deactivated all plugins, including BuddyPress. Using the browser uploader, the image uploads and WPMU is making different sized images, but they appear in the media library as broken links. When I insert into a post, it appears as a broken link also.
My server has GD, Imagemagik, Safe mode is off. I’ve replaced all files, apart from the contents of the wp-content folder. wp-content is chmoded to 755, as is blogs-dir.
My feeling is that the htaccess isn’t rewriting as it should, as all files are from the WPMU zip.
After upload, the File URL is, but appears as a broken link:
domain.com/files/2009/05/3592429491_c32bc044841.jpg
Look forward to your support!
Ross
Hi
I know this issue has been already adressed before, i’ve read the threads about it, but i cannot find any missing piece of code or spaces or anything related to the php document i’m getting the error from.
When i search for a keyword for a group on http://futeblogs.com/groups that already exists, i get this message:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/futeblog/public_html/wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember/directories/groups/groups-loop.php:4) in /home/futeblog/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-signup.php on line 5Wich means something is wrong in groups-loop.php line number 4
When i search for a group that is not there , there , i get this
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/futeblog/public_html/wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember/directories/groups/groups-loop.php:47) in /home/futeblog/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-signup.php on line 5So, line 47 on same page.
However, i’m looking and looking and can’t find anything.
Here’s the code:
<?php if ( bp_has_site_groups( 'type=active&per_page=10' ) ) : ?>
<div class="pag-count" id="group-dir-count">
<?php bp_site_groups_pagination_count() ?>
</div>
<div class="pagination-links" id="group-dir-pag">
<?php bp_site_groups_pagination_links() ?>
</div>
<ul id="groups-list" class="item-list">
<?php while ( bp_site_groups() ) : bp_the_site_group(); ?>
<li>
<div class="item-avatar">
<a href="<?php bp_the_site_group_link() ?>"><?php bp_the_site_group_avatar_thumb() ?></a>
</div>
<div class="item">
<div class="item-title"><a href="<?php bp_the_site_group_link() ?>"><?php bp_the_site_group_name() ?></a></div>
<div class="item-meta"><span class="activity"><?php bp_the_site_group_last_active() ?></span></div>
<div class="item-meta desc"><?php bp_the_site_group_description() ?></div>
<?php do_action( 'bp_core_directory_groups_content' ) ?>
</div>
<div class="action">
<?php bp_the_site_group_join_button() ?>
<div class="meta">
<?php bp_the_site_group_type() ?> / <?php bp_the_site_group_member_count() ?>
</div>
<?php do_action( 'bp_core_directory_groups_actions' ) ?>
</div>
<div class="clear"></div>
</li>
<?php endwhile; ?>
</ul>
<?php else: ?>
<div id="message" class="info">
<p><?php _e( 'There were no groups found.', 'buddypress' ) ?></p>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>
<?php bp_the_site_group_hidden_fields() ?>Any help is much appreciated.
Upgraded to BuddyPress 1.0.1 with WordPressMU 2.7.1. BuddyPress rewrites the theme_root to /bp-themes/ on /wpmu-themes.php and on /themes.php, denying both users and administrators the ability to activate standard WordPress themes that live in /wp-content/themes.
Simply put, if BuddyPress is activated, all blogs on the server crash because they can’t find their themes.
Everything was working fine prior to upgrade. Only active plugin is BuddyPress.
