Topic: Error creating groups
In the step 4 of creating a group I get this error message:
Warning: sprintf() [function.sprintf]: Too few arguments in /home/huwaicom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-groups/bp-groups-notifications.php on line 262
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/huwaicom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-groups/bp-groups-notifications.php:262) in /home/huwaicom/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 856
The group is created correctly though.
Also, in step 3 it is not possible to upload an avatar for a group. I get this message:
Are you sure you want to do it? Please try again.
Topic: Avatar upload error
Hi
I am getting the following error when I try to upload avatars:
Upload Failed! Error was: Unable to create directory /home/bucksboa/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files//2009/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
I have spoken to my host (pSek) and they have assured me that the parent directory is writable by the server.
Does anyone have any advice as to what I might need to do?
I am running BuddyPress 1.0

Hi,
I am referring to this page:
http://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=2190.
My problem:
The solution from Burt did not work. So I have choosen the solution on the bottom of the page.
<?php if (!bp_the_profile_group() == “1”) : ?>
It works, but now I have three groups: the first with none public information. A senond and a third one. The second one gets diplayed. The third one not, why?
The next question:
How can I apply the code above to the members loop?
Lars
Hi, is there a way I can disable a user’s ability to change his/her name in his Profile in BuddyPress? I am planning a BuddyPress roll out for a secondary school and we are concerned about students faking their identities and misrepresenting themselves.
Thank you!
