I like this new buddypress site and new member profile theme, Where can I get this member profile theme?
Looks like something is improperly stripping the lt and gt chars from your forum text. Do you have the bbpress plugin buddypress-enable.php activated in bbpress? It comes with bp and is distributed in the /mu-plugins/bp-forums/bbpress-plugins.
Has something disabled the standard bp filter bp_forums_filter_decode() that lives in bp-forums-filters.php?
Make sure you have activated the buddypress-enable.php bbpress plugin that comes with the bp-forums component.
New BuddyPress looks great cant wait for the release of 2.7.1 version so its officially out! in the mean time I am running an install that works awesome too except that i cant write on the wire or groups, I even updated the latest theme so my function files were up-to-date to correct the old problem, any ideas?
Thanks! I’ll be tweaking it over this week to fix up browser glitches and a few other things.
Congratulation to the new buddypress.org site. The new design looks awesome!
I\’d be very happy to discuss my experiences and how BP and WP have helped me achieve what i have here: http://parentdiary.co.uk
I dig the new design.
It’s funny. I was just surfing the forums and poof! It took me a second to realize what just happened.
I’m just an ordinary user with no technical knowledge and I got this site started – http://petnetwork.ws . It’s using the standard theme and I guess it just fits the site’s content, I guess.
@gpo1. Burt already conquered this one. Just add a few lines to bp-custom.php. No plugin necessary.
See https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=1651.
Works for me!
Wow – I must have been so lucky I did not encountered any problem with my buddypress – bbpress site integration.
Just followed the instructions. Now just need to make my forum site look like the main site. LOL – I am not a techie guy though.
Here’s my new site: http://petnetwork.ws / forum at http://petnetwork.ws/forums/
I believe it probably is a host thing (godaddy)
how it that when permalinks are set to default, the buddypress pages still have “pretty permalinks”?
I would like to fix my problem by using that same “technique”
anyone?
Hi,
I have installed this and acivated it and looks good on the members pages but on the sites homepage it shows the default wpmu page my site is http://www.ourlordsblogs.com
Hello everyone,
I have installed buddypress at http://leadingminds.in
Except the home page none of the page link work.
Please help me to fix this problem.
It will be great if you can put this theme as the default theme for built-in bbpress under buddypress.
Thanks. I will check it out
ok, works great in firefox on windows but in in IE8 the button is shifted upwards on home theme and on buddypress fb theme it is moved out of visibility.
social.gibcosta.com
I don’t think that this theme is available for download anywhere. It looks to me like the standard bbpress theme with a custom header and footer.
ipin, new translation files are generated frequently. Check the svn trunk for notifications such as this: POT, generated from r1247
I believe that one was generated this past Friday.
just upgraded to lastest trunk, overwrote all the files in mu plugins and overwrote buddypress-home files, yet instead of overwriting old bp-member files in member-themes, i moved buddypress-member files straight into new bp-themes folder and did away with old bp-member folder – now i seem to have lost control over the widgets and a few other little issues, any ideas how i can sort this out again? widgets page in wp-admin show old widgets, yet bp homepage at social.gibcosta.com showing new one added, yet seem to have lost control over them. pretty thoughtless error – any ideas on a solution? thanks
Sounds good. Hope it won’t take long to get WPMU 2.7.1
But when I test buddpress in Chinese version, I found there are many words are cored in English, not in language file. Will this issue be considered before release V1?
