1) Permissions are fine.

2) What about the fact that the path doesn’t exist?

/wp-content/member-themes/buddypress-home/index.php

This isn’t even a location! Do I need to redefine a function or something?

I have triple-checked my themes and they are in the correct folders, but when I click on a member to see their profile, I get the message below:

Warning: require_once (/wp-content/member-themes/buddypress-home/index.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /wp-includes/theme.php on line 822

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/wp-content/member-themes/buddypress-home/index.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/share/pear’) in /home/u2/zaifv9sjbm/cloudwomen.com/html/wp-includes/theme.php on line 822

In file wp-includes/capabilities.php add on line 2:

require_once(‘pluggable.php’);

Worked PERFECTLY!

wow, just put that in…………. that unfortunately did not work. The Buddypress bar is still on all pages for “LOGGED IN” users. I basically NEVER want it to appear except in the actual Buddypress User Theme, not the home theme at all.

This functionality should really be built in.

Are you using a separate theme for your main blog? If so, I learned that you have to move two files from the buddypress-home theme folder into the same directory as the theme you’re using. I have no idea if this is related to your issue though…

Move these two files:

plugin-sidebar.php

plugin-template.php

This statement I found, but when I changed the 960px or 1300px to 100% it did nothing at all.

I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty certain that you can find this in the CSS somewhere. Just search for “width”, “padding” and “margin” – it should be something like that.

I’m having trouble creating groups through the main site. I fill in the required details but every time it says there was an error saving group details. New wpmu and buddypress install…does it rely on other components? I’ve only core, profile, friends and groups installed to date.
