Participant@miciz WP/BP versions? Plugins used? Have you tried deactivating plugins except BuddyPress to check which is causing conflict?

@mercime
Participantwas wondering if I could change the css or html of the theme or of buddypress to stop it duplicating
@alexharvey52 always better to create a new topic for your own. WP/BP versions? What theme are you using? Where is duplicate content showing up? In all BP pages or in one component only? Have you done basic troubleshooting like changing to Twenty Twelve theme? Or deactivating plugins batch by batch except BuddyPress to check what is causing issue in your installation?July 4, 2013 at 2:10 am #167529In reply to: [Resolved] Forum Issue

ParticipantWhenever I make a topic in any given forum, it appears in every single forum
@fptcom WP, BP and bbPress versions? Have never seen the issue you posted above. Basic troubleshooting, change to twenty twelve theme and deactivate plugins except BuddyPress and bbPress.July 4, 2013 at 2:08 am #167528In reply to: RSS reader for each member/group

Participant@brikou Group RSS with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/external-group-blogs/
Btw, please upload your BP-compatible or BP child theme in wp-content/themes/ and not in wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/ Good that the latter way works for now, but that’s not the best practice.

@mercime
Participant@alexharvey52 I’ve seen the misalignments when theme authors use proprietary templating systems. One solution would be to open up your theme’s page.php file and Save As > buddypress.php then ask theme author to replace theme’s template tags to use the_title() and the_content(). Then upload that revised buddypress.php file to your theme folder in server.

Participant@somosguatemala you’d need a SimplePress-BuddyPress integration plugin per http://simple-press.com/buddypress-integration-plugin/

@mercime
Participant@mcrib there’s no plugin in the market which does that at this time as far as I know. You’d need to create a plugin based on a specific media/gallery plugin compatible with BuddyPress.

I am assuming you are talking about bbpress forums since BuddyPress no longer comes packaged with bbpress as of BP 1.7 This should help explain how to set it up.

ParticipantThe critical piece of info left out here, since I went looking for it too, is that you have to create it yourself and place it in plugins. Not obvious at all.

Moderatormore on what Hugo said. The theme developers can supply responsive BP templates to make it 100% responsive. Even if BP added CSS and HTML to be responsive it still would not be 100% perfect because responsive CSS is different with every theme.

ParticipantCould always overload the styles and make it responsive? In it’s ‘native state’ it may never be as these things can tend to be reliant on the parent themes actions.

ParticipantNo help is ever urgent on voluntary free help forums! 🙂
This sounds like an issue with woocommerece if as you say it providing some form of registration, so have you also contacted their support & asked whether they have a notion of why this happens?
Not sure what you mean by go into the editor of the register php it tells me that buddypress registration is disabled Can you elaborate on the ‘editor of the register php’ and what is telling you buddypress registration is disabled, WP handles enabling / disabling registration, BP just provides a page/form that can be navigated to if a blank registration page is setup.
