ParticipantSorry for non-english examples. Basically i dont have english network yet ^^
Should i create a community in http://theme.firmasite.com/ ? Its a network itself so i can install buddypress and open registration etc. I couldnt decide on this actually but i generally hate registering to lots of site for able to get support. If i dont change my mind, i am thinking to give support on wordpress.org’s forums because everyone have account in there. What do you guys think about registering a site for getting support?

Participantif you mean WordPress Multisite with “network environment”; My all sites are built on multisite. For example main site is: http://yerleske.net/ and http://unsalkorkmaz.com/ is one of sub-domain.
If you mean BuddPress examples;
My buddypress profiles:
http://yerleske.net/uyeler/unsalkorkmaz/

ParticipantHi @qzplx,
Raffaell, only one solution: a can of gasoline and a match ! 😀
Have you FTP access ? If yes, you can rename each plugin in the plugin folder. This will deactivate them.
Control this on your dashboard.Rename also your current theme (frisco for buddypress) when on FTP
Then reinstall a fresh copy of buddypress and activate bp-default theme and redo BP’s settings.

ParticipantHi designz,
It is as simple as adding any wordpress plugin.
Go through this link
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-activity-plus/installation/
The easy way (which is missing in the above link)
Also you can go to dashboard and click plugins, then add new, type buddypress activity plus and hit search.
When the plugin appears, click install now and activate it.
You are done.

ParticipantHi mate,
I tried version 1.7 beta 2 and it is working better but still the buddypress pages are extremely left aligned which makes them look awkward.
The navigation bar and everything are somewhat center aligned but the members pages and other buddypress pages extremely left aligned.
I believe small changes in html/css can help them align properly but I don’t know what changes to do and where.

ParticipantOk, thanks for your help.
Anyone else able to help with this? Has anyone tried using BuddyPress with Artisteer 4 themes? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks again.

ParticipantYou need to explain better what you have been trying to do and with what versions.
Please try using BP 1.7 beta 2 and it’s theme compat template mode which should seamlessly integrate the BP templates into any theme as long as the theme follows WP templating conventions and doesn’t try and do it’s own thing in this respect.

ParticipantHi. I just jumped in as I’m looking to see which file to edit to add this country list code I was just given. I ftp’d into /public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-members/ and am not seeing some of the files mentioned. I checked a level above, etc. and still not seeing. Could easily be overlooking, but thought I’d ask for a lifeline in how I might add the country code list. Currently, I added a dropdown into the base, so figured once I find the code, I can insert the list.
Suggestions, possibly? Thank you for your time, in advance!
