Participantjpeg_quality is deprecated since WP 3.5
use wp_editor_set_quality or WP_Image_Editor::set_quality() instead

ParticipantAs I see using “Firebug”, the taken users’ avatars are thumbnails with default size 50×50 and enlarged to 80×80, that’s why its quality is low but the question is how to use the original avatar instead of the thumbnail? What file should be modified for this? I couldn’t find it :S

ModeratorPerhaps the image is too small and it just scales… Try to upload the big image (in px) and crop it.

ParticipantNo, I haven’t done any modification on the size via css & I’m looking at it from a normal resolution screen (from my laptop 🙂 )…
It’s not like the avatars here, same size but lower quality.
Thanks

Participanthi @ngoegan,
on what type of host are you ? Shared, VPS ? How many memory_limit do you have on your server ?
On cheap host, using WP+BP is already to much. If you add 1 or 2 plugins and a cache plugin, it comes to quickly to disaster….But also you can’t ask for help if you don’t play with the common rules. You are using latest WP & BP and a outdated plugin. Don’t be surprised that it doesn’t work ! Or very wobbly…
Private BuddyPress
Requires: 3.0, BuddyPress 1.2 or higher
Compatible up to: 3.1, BuddyPress 1.3Deactivate it and you will certainly see a difference.
You also use WP Super Cache. Don’t forget to clear the cache and to deactivate this plugin while testing BP.January 24, 2013 at 5:09 pm #151642In reply to: sub-directory

ParticipantH’mm sorry, I have some problems with the forum Software 🙁
If I write an text with php inside it says:`ERROR: Your reply cannot be created at this time.`
I added it into buddypress because I added a few subpages and other bp-stuff into the buddypress-member directory
Does this answers your question?January 24, 2013 at 1:58 pm #151632In reply to: [Resolved] Why no topics showing on home page?

ParticipantHello,
Can someone help me adjust that css which resized my pictures?
If you look here: http://thecashlab.com/forum/
I have now added a ‘forums’ section and I am getting the funny image size thing again – but only for the forums index (not the topic index that @mercime fixed last time).
Thanks,

ParticipantHere’s another issue I’m having in my WP Super Cache settings:
Notice: PHP caching enabled but Supercache mod_rewrite rules detected. Cached files will be served using those rules. If your site is working ok please ignore this message or you can edit the .htaccess file in the root of your install and remove the SuperCache rules.
Please help!

ParticipantI tried this:
If possible, increase the memory limit in the wp-config.php file by adding `define (‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);`.
but it didn’t work 🙁 I’m not sure where to add the recommended lines in the other files – they are full of unintelligible code to me and I’m concerned about messing with it without knowing where exactly I should put it.

ModeratorHi @djpaul , @mercime , @chouf1
Finally, i made 2 versions tonight the 1.0.3-beta1 is taking in account Paul’s review. Then i thought, what about filtering the topic by support status in the backend Topics list ?
So i made 1.1-beta1, here’s an illustration
https://github.com/imath/buddy-bbPress-Support-Topic/blob/master/screenshot-5.pngMaster is latest.
https://github.com/imath/buddy-bbPress-Support-TopicIf everything is ok, then i’ll publish 1.1 to WordPress repo.
Good night.

ParticipantHi there. I like the concept. How’s it going so far?
The layout is very nice except in the page title areas of the BP and bbP pages where the title and some elements of the layout are flush left or right i.e., no padding/margin. e.g. http://tradr.com/groups/report-a-bug/forum/topic/home-button-riderect/ and also http://tradr.com/shops/create/

ParticipantI’d like to throw out the “groups-loop.php” sidebars forum groups and so on,
when removed <php getsidebars, widgets removed@patrykos360 just to clarify, do you want to remove the sidebar only for all the groups components including the group forums? Or for all BP components?

ParticipantHopefully they are pulling that and a lot of other things off in terms of groups, bbpress, etc.
Looking promising though!
