@jamie771 : If you are talking about https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-media, the mobile upload functionality is about to be completely changed. The problem you are facing is because of the plupload library that is being used in BuddyPress Media. In version 2.17 (Roadmap), there will be fallback uploader as well which will work with all mobile devices as well.
@wordbuddypress there’s nothing obviously wrong with that code. What theme are you using?
which BuddyPress Media plugin as there are two with the same name.
there is no relation to wp.com or wordpress.com and buddypress other then the fact they are built on the same basic infrastructure of wordpress which is available at wordpress.org. but you cannot be using buddypress on a wordpress.com website.
I have Cube Points and CubePoints Buddypress Integration installed. When you go to any of the points pages (sitewide points, users points, or legend) you get a page not found error. Points seem to be adding fine.

@jamie771 there’s a similar but not the same issue posted in another thread and the common factor seems to be Contact Form 7. To eliminate other possible issues, have you tried deactivatig plugins except BuddyPress and changing to Twenty Twelve theme to check if issue is resolved?
@rairai-ni no problem with the number of plugins, there are those which have much more installed. There’s a similar but not quite the same issue posted recently and the common plugin is Contact Form 7. Just to make sure that there are no other conflicts, have you tried deactivating Gantry Framework/BuddyPress and changing to Twenty Twelve theme? Is the Gantry BuddyPress updated for BP 1.7?
I went to Commons in a Box, which is a giant plug-in for WordPress that includes BuddyPress (and many other plug-ins) and allows me to create a multi-site installation with a blog/site for each workgroup I wanted to integrate. Now that the new release of BuddyPress seems to work with most themes that weren’t designed to be specifically BuddyPress-compatible, P2 Theme just seems to work.
The only issue I have now is that the new P2 Theme seems to have broken the P2-Check-In plugin as I can no longer see the “I’m Here” button on the header. Otherwise, I’ve got most of what I needed working via Multi-Site and Commons in a Box.
We are looking for a good solution for our website to be displayed on Mobile devises.
BuddyMobile works great. The only problem is that Attach Media button doesn’t work (we are using BuddyPress Media plugin). Is there any solution to that and there are different mobile plugin we can use. We tried BP Album, but it doesn’t have a lot of functionalities BuddyPress Media has.
I tried BuddyPress Automatic Friends plugin and it doesn’t work. What to they mean by User ID? Is it user name? If not there do I find it? Thanks.

Hey thanks for being a good sport. Sorry I felt inclined to show my sense of humor but I could not pass up the opportunity. On a serious note though, and I am sure you know that plugins are just functions with hooks that has required commented info at the top of the php file. That is really the only difference between a plugin and a function. I try to keep my custom functions in one file that I can deploy in most situations. I of course comment all the functions in case of hook changes etc., and if a hook changes then I comment out the function until I narrow down what needs to be recoded in regards to a hook. Not saying you don’t know this already or practice it, but maybe it will benefit others as we all go about harnessing the power of WordPress and BuddyPress. 🙂

I cannot be the only one with this problem. I did a clean install, with only wordpress, buddypress and bbpress and everytime I click ‘yes’ the radio button will not stay checked ‘yes’. It sends an email to the people in the group saying ‘group details for the group “xxxxx” were updated:
But when changes are made to the group nothing is emailed. There is no way I am the only one, can someone verify that this thing actually works?
