Member@r-a-y @kateM82 what you guys suggested for “favoriting” posts from across a network worked great… but it doenst hold good with bp 1.5 beta 2… i still have the same code in bp-custom.php in the plugins folder… and i still have the same code in single.php… when i mouseover the link it does show me a “post id”… so thats not the problem.. and it does say… domain.com/activity/favorite/POST_ID/xxx …. so what then is the problem!? Could it be that in 1.5 beta 2… u have to assign a “page” for activity… and thats why its not working right?

Member@sidjags, no I never figured out how to favorite comments. And the buddypress support was so horrible, and the plug-in was so resource-heavy, that I actually deleted it. Good luck.

No harm. Thanks again for your testing; 1.5 has had the best beta period (in terms of community involvement and bugs found/fixes) to date of any BuddyPress release, and your team’s contribution is icing on a yummy cupcake.August 9, 2011 at 2:12 pm #118060In reply to: BuddyPress 1.5 compatibility for plugins and themes

InactiveBP Xtra Signup is listed as working on your spreadsheet. It doesn’t add a root page, so should work just fine for 1.5 as it does for 1.2.x. Problem is that it’s not working properly in a MS environment (and hasn’t been for a while now), as the options page doesn’t show. I know it’s easy to fix, but there never is enough time…
I’ll be testing it thoroughly sometime this week, but until then it might be best to set it to fail, so users don’t get confused. Cheers!

KeymasterIt’s part of the new BuddyPress 1.5 default theme, which you can download via our news blog (“blog” in the main menu). Be aware the software is in beta testing at the moment.

ParticipantWe’ve modified our BuddyPress test install with your patch and deployed it to our testers. There could be up to a 24 hour delay before they cut over to it though.
Thanks!

MemberThe Buddypress Template Pack can insert the Buddypress CSS and JS in your theme. That’s likely the step you are missing.
