Is there a way to add extended profile fields info to the Bookings Report? When people register, I ask them if they are Vegetarian and I need that info when I manage the bookings to know how many vege meals to serve. I tried using for an added column but it only fetches my preference in all the columns.

Hope to see the option to add extended fields in Books report.

@onyx808: would your code work for my situation? I want to display ONLY profile updates (stuff posted to the “What’s new, x?” text area) on my sitewide activity page, but I want members individual feeds to continue to display everything (profile updates, blog posts, joins, etc.)

What’s buddypress ‘stuff’? you must be specific on tech forums and be clear as to what ‘things’ you are referring to

If you are not worried about any test posts/pages plugin settings then all you need to do is get all the site files uploaded including BP plugin and your themes folder, then when you have run the WP install routine you will be able to log into the dashboard and start to configure basic WP parameters and then activate BP and set that up. As for DB stuff I mentioned that briefly on another thread, you should perhaps stick to one thread otherwise things become disjointed and hard to follow.

I’m going to come across a bit cold hearted here and say ‘Google Is Your Friend’. You will need to research these aspects to get familiar with what you need to do, this forum is for BP support and guiding on how to install a site to a server is a little outside of it’s remit (WP codex may have some guides?)

Essentially your hosts are only saying what they all will, when you set up a shared hosting account you are provided with a control panel along with url and login plus ftp access to your web directory.

CPanel is designed to be used by non technical users, it is a point and click interface to server management and pretty easy to use, you just need to spend a little time familiarizing yourself with it. For ftp you will need a client e.g filezilla to use to upload your site files (or you can use the cPanel filemanager upload capabilities, either way it’s not hugely difficult. Your database will also be set up via cPanel, then it’s simply a case of running the WP installer when the site files are in place and you have pointed a domain name to your provided IP.

hi, have just solved this type of problem on my test site. go to Wp dashbord, click on users, at the list of users , change the Admin Email address from ———— @example.com to just normal email like yahoo. gmail. etc

@LPH2005 you have two #subnav in your page – the red one and the BP subnav which inherited width of 970px. Recommend changing div ID of the red navigation bar to get HTML markup validation.

On the BP subnav which is called in your stylesheet as div#subnav.item-list-tabs, you would need to change `minimum-height:35px` to `height: 25px` like the red navigation bar.

If you don’t know where you php.ini is, ask your host. Setting allow_call_time_pass_reference will prevent the error being generated (you could apply patches to your version of BuddyPress to fix the errors, but that is more involved).

@DJPaul any idea of how to pass the user id too? I been trying but fail so far…
tried `&user_id=’ . bp_displayed_user_id()` `global $bp;` `bp_is_member()`….. nothing seems to work

I have revised the HTML replacement for the bottom portion of activity/index.php

WP/BP versions? Have you tried deactivating plugins except BuddyPress and changing to bp-default theme?
