I managed to fix the issue with the sidebar. I just had to move the call function for the sidebar outside the div tag and it seems to work now..
Still trying to figure out what I need to do to change the CSS and only effect the buddypress part of the template though..
i use buddypress but it dosent work. I deleted its page and then again created but these pages are not work. When i want to show profile , activity , notifications and others it show black page nothing will be display please help me. Thanks

@eric-johnson – Their is no photo uploading functionality (except for an avatar) packaged within the BuddyPress plugin, but – while it doesn’t intergrate with the comments (i think we’ve established that BP Doesn’t provide a disqus-like product, but instead provides an extensible and unique social experience for your site, right?) The version currently advertised (1.0), is for a (very) old version of BuddyPress and while i haven’t used it lately, it doesn’t look like it’s been updated.
I’ve recently stood up a BuddyPress site and it is working great – the only problem I have is that you can’t see to reply to group forum topic replies. So if I start a topic in a group forum and others reply, there is no way to reply to one of the specific replies. Am I missing something – or is this feature added somewhere? Maybe a plugin that I can’t seem to find? Would love it if this could be added to the core – seems like it is a no-brainer.

I have created a few topics over the past week or so. Is there an easy way to find those that I create on BuddyPress.org?
I have seen several discussions regarding the “Settings” tab on the member profile not working with no definitive solution to the problem except – merely copying the folder from the Buddypress CORE to the Member folder within the THEME itself. However, when I do this… none of the CSS is present – it’s like the CSS for my theme is STRIPPED from just the SETTINGS page. All of the other tabs on the member profile pages work properly EXCEPT the Settings tab. How do we fix this? This just started happening with the latest updates. I need this fixed immediately.

To start of with I only want my users to be able to sign up to my site using social networks so I have set this up for Facebook, etc..
I have also changed the code so my admin bar shows up for everyone, included visitors not logged in.
At the moment it shows log in and register. I prefer the wp admin bar so I have defined this over bp admin bar in the wp config file, but bp has still automatically integrated with the wp admin bar I have.
The first this is that I would like to remove the register link and possibly change the Login link to state ‘Register or Login’ but direct only to the login page (to prevent users logging in without a social network connection). Wondering how I do this? is this part of the wp admin bar or bp bar since it link to buddypress registration?
Second thing is that under the main menu in the far right corner of the admin bar, there is a drop down which shows the various sections of buddypress. I love this and think its great, but I am having a issue in my backend where there are some strange wordpress icons showing under the text – see here 
Any ideas how to get rid of these icons? I am using the coffee theme backend plugin in case that helps (have posted on wordpress for this plugin as well)

is there something else I need to edit to get this working? I have the widget logic plugin so I can specify where I want widgets (there are some specific widgets I want in buddypress) but I must still need to define this sidebar in the buddypress pages or?
Also, just in terms of the final step of styling.. Just to clarify, I should copy the code supplied in the template tutorial and then modify that? I need to learn CSS so I am going through it, but is this the step where I can copy some of the styling over from Frisco?
Would it be a matter of just getting the styling from Frisco and copying into my style.css?

1. Where or how can I change the titles of BuddyPress pages? On the members page for example the page title is really bad:
rePlaying – klassische PC-Spieletestuser | Profil
There’s no blank between my page title and the user name. Optimally, the title should be:
rePlaying – klassische PC-Spiele | Profile of testuser
2. Is it possible to setup a forum without groups, or use groups as categories?

I have managed to repair it myself. I have installed buddypress as a plugin for our members in a domain http://www.domain.com/members. When it was going to the usual buddypress member’s admin page domain.com/members/members it could not find it. I changed the name of the standard bp ‘members’ page to ‘subscribers’ and it solved the problem.
Strange bug, perhaps could be fixed with the next update.

I’m trying to add some functions in my buddypress installation.
Can anyone help me how to make “Add Friend” and “Create Group” button visible even if the users are not logged-in, once clicked both buttons will direct them to the registration page. I’m not using any membership plugin or anything I’m just using a default buddypress installation.

@indieconnect Great! Crossing my fingers and toes 
Deactivate BuddyPress and any other BP plugin. Re-upload theglobalsport theme files like I mentioned previously and check that the WordPress section – posts/pages – are working as expected.
If everything’s working on the WP side, then activate BuddyPress and BP template pack plugin.and run Appearance > BP Compatibility. Only then do you implement the instructions I posted above.

It’s clear now, thanks. Have you contacted @sbrajesh and informed him about the posts in subsite not showing up in that subsite’s activity stream? He should know about this as I agree with you about the functionality you want.
