If you really desperately need to use this theme and you haven’t the time to learn to use the BP template pack plugin – have you tried or made a start with the template pack to convert your theme to use BP? – then you might want to think about making that offer a little more generous

Failing that check the codex pages to see if this is a theme @mercime has already covered and converted – there’s a list of themes already made compatible. Failing all that as well you might be lucky and find mercime will do this for you for free.

hi @juanmaguerrero, no need in video. after deeper testing I understood the issue. Bug remains in every activity list, where you do not have enough of updates to see “load more” button. Create a group with few updates and scroll to the bottom. Script will keep adding more and more “Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.” even without refresh.

@rafferjr You’d either need to revise 16 BP template files or just create 2 files and upload to server. It all depends on your HTML structure. Which Admire WP theme, URI to theme demo?

Are you referring to the BuddyPress MultiNetwork plugin by Ron Rennick (aka wpmuguru) and not the BP MultiNetwork by Brajesh Singh (aka sbrajesh)? Either way, both plugins make each subsite (with own BP instance each) function separately from each other. In other words, using either plugin above, you’re not likely to see the blog posts from the subsite showing up in the main site’s activity stream at all precisely because of the separate instances. Having said that, you should contact the plugin author re best way to go about it.

@eric-johnson – BuddyPress isn’t a commenting system (Like Disqus) so to answer your first question, no. It creates something similar (but different) to Facebook.com (as in the site, not including their external products)

However BuddyPress can/does hook into WordPress’s commenting system to bring somewhat of a social component to WordPress comments for registered members. Out of the box it…
1. Allows registered users to upload an avatar that will replace the gravatar. (if an avatar is what you mean by photo in question 2, then the answer is yes – but only registered members can)
2. links the name of the registered user to their profile page (so that other readers can learn more about them).
3. adds comments (of registed users) to the activity stream (show off comments to friends and gets others to engage in conversation).

Non-registered users will use the WordPress commenting system the same way it did without BP.

But, having said that – If you know how to code, or your able to hire someone who can – BuddyPress was made to make nearly anything possible. (except make you breakfast)

Does it still show up in plugins? Have you tried deactivating and reactivating?
