It’s a nice idea in theory. The problem is that Jetpack is developed and maintained by a couple of people who get paid to devote large amounts of time to the project. BuddyPress is almost entirely developed by volunteers, who have their hands full enough trying to keep up with development on BP core. The economics are tricky

after export/import of my db blue tweet button disappeared in IE8, however, still is in webkit browsers. Can it be some url problem? if it is possible, what I should remove from .php to get rid of that blue button and have only usual meta button, which I have now in IE8?

You can create a grid effect for lists by applying a display property to each list item and adjusting width and margins to suit the available space. For a 3-column members directory, try this:

ul#members-list li {
display:inline-block;
width:30%;
margin:6px;
}

After that, it’s a matter of playing with the CSS for the various elements contained within each list item to get it to look just right. Have fun!

Such errors occur when you’re still running on PHP4. Many plugins (and upcoming WP 3.2) require PHP 5 and above

@justbishop if you put it in the fuctions.php it will filter sitewide… so I guess you will have to put it in the activity loop…
