MemberI apologize @mercime. I actually thought it would help and eliminate the need for those wanting to help to have to address the same question in more than one thread. As a user I’d also like to find all the answers in one place, so again, I thought this would help.
But I followed your request. I posted my problem regarding Wootheme and BP here: For those using Wootheme and having this problem, I posted a question on that here: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/sidebar-dropping-in-woothemes-diner/

Participant@foundsheepgmailcom Based on the HTML structure of your theme, you’d need to use the first option, i.e., change 16 template files within the 6 BP folders transferred to your TheSource theme folder in server during the compatibility process.
If you’ve previously changed any of the BP template files in your theme folder, replace all of them for a clean slate by deleting the 6 BP folders in server – /activity, /blogs, /forums, /groups, /members, and /registration – then re-run Appearance > BP Compatibility.
Download the 6 clean BP folders to your computer hard drive.
A. At the top of each of those 16 template files I linked to above, replace
``with
`
<?php if (get_option('thesource_integration_single_top') ” && get_option(‘thesource_integrate_singletop_enable’) == ‘on’) echo(get_option(‘thesource_integration_single_top’)); ?><div id="top-shadow">

ParticipantHi guys,
Sorry for posting here but i’m new and havent found how to post a new question.
I’d like to COMPLETELY delete buddypress… To reinstall it and recover in such a way the original configuration proposed.
The problem is everytime i deactivate and delete buddypress plugins and themes, check it is done in the repertory and delete wp_bp tables… my old undesired buddypress is still there when i install it again.
I’ve also taken a look into my wp_options tables (i have a couple of them since i installed a network) but none of them contains such files as these:
* bp-db-version (for BuddyPress 1.5)
* _bp_db_version (as of BuddyPress 1.6)
* bp-active-components
* bp-blogs-first-install
* bp-deactivated-components
* bp-disable-account-deletion
* bp-disable-avatar-uploads
* bp-disable-blogforum-coments
* bp-disable-profile-sync
* bp-pages
* bp-xprofile-base-group-name
* bp-xprofile-fullname-field-nameI’ve been here (https://codex.buddypress.org/buddypress-site-administration/deleting-buddypress/) and it seems i did everything ok but it still doesnt work…
Could you please give me a hand?

Memberwordpress version 3.3.1
buddypress Version 1.5.5Custom Community Theme
Plugins:Akismet , BuddyPress Sliding Login Panel, Buddypress.
I have enabled Group forums in the group admin, I’ve changed the theme and deactivated each plugin to see which is causing the problem, no luck with any of those things.
everything else on my buddypress is working fine and I never had a problem with my groups before.

MemberFYI – see message from my isp:
We’ve created a user (support74, you can delete it if you like) and were able to reproduce the issue. The user is repeated three times on http://atlantagardeningforum.com/members/.
We’ve looked into the database and found multiple entries for the users, but none that would explain why a link to this member is repeated three times.
I’m sorry but we cannot determine what is causing this needless repetition. We suggest you contact the vendor for BuddyPress about this matter and possible solutions.

MemberI see several threads on different sites such as this one: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/creating-extending/forum/topic/solved-limit-members-loop-by-profile-fields/
…where people of successfully filtered the member loop by role, but how to filter it by domain / site?

coreymj78
MemberI see that there is a plugin in development that filters the members loop here: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/third-party-components-plugins/forum/topic/bp-member-filter/?topic_page=3&num=15
If this is the case, couldn’t I simply apply a similar filter to the list to filter it by domain?
Thoughts?

@mercime
Participant@mettezz – I have helped out compatibility with other themes from Themeforest in this forum and have not seen load more issue. Could be a JS conflict based on the 10 or so scripts included in the theme. Best bet is to contact Theme Developer as they would know how to resolve the issue.

ParticipantWP/BP versions? Single WP or Multisite (BP installed in main site or subsite)? Theme used? Plugins used? Have you enabled Group Forums in Group’s admin settings? Have you done basic troubleshooting by deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress and changing to bp-default theme?

@mercime
Participant@piccollopete we don’t quite know from what application/software you are migrating from in the first place. I can only guess from the first post that you’re migrating from another forum software. The easier route then is to import data/users from that software into WordPress with bbPress plugin, after which you can install BuddyPress which works with bbPress plugin.
Do post at bbPress.org to check whether an import script has been created for your specific forum software.

ParticipantMate you’re skating on very thin ice here I’m incredibly inclined to close this thread and any other you care to start if you are going to insult me or any other person trying to help in that manner.
Time for you to hire someone as suggested, you are out of your depth and haven’t enough technical knowledge, I on the other hand do have quite a bit of experience with many aspects of web development having been at it professionally for a fair few years now – just to set the record straight

The htacces rules were NOT MINE! they are from a wp codex page so please feel free to go bitch at them and also I did not write the page describing how to delete BP also no where that I can remember was it advised that you go and start deleting tables that is for experienced users to do and a very risky thing unless you know what you are doing!
Good luck with getting this sorted, and have no fear I will not meddle further, but do the forum the courtesy of updating the thread when you have found the solution as it may help others.

@mercime
Participant@bender001 JJJ, the one who created the patch above, is the lead developer for both BP and bbPress. So I doubt anyone else would go through the not inconsiderable work of importing BP group forums to bbPress plugin forums without jumping through the hoops and then making sure that what’s imported would be compatible with upcoming new versions of BP and bbPress.
Having said that, post at bbPress.org forums and check if anyone has successfully done so.

Participant@roxor If you mean 10 WP installations with their own respective DB’s then no.
Alternatives:
1. If it’s just the posts, then you can set up RSS feeds for the 10 in your WP/BP installation in one WP install without BuddyPress so that the links to aggregated posts will show up in a page or over a number of pages.
2. You could also create a single Network out of one of the 10 WP installs, create the subsites, install Domain Mapping plugin, then install BuddyPress plugin, then import other WP sites one by one as subsites into the multisite installation. https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network and https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/
There is one instance of BP for a multisite installation, so as @aces pointed above, you can enable multiblog so that you don’t have to navigate to main site to post in activity or forums, etc.
3. You could also create a Multi-Network out of one of the 10 WP installs and have multiple instances of BuddyPress with BP Social Networks, import remaining 9 WP sites as a network into the multi-network installation. The multiple instances of BuddyPress in this case are separate i.e., don’t overlap activities, memberships, groups, etc. http://wpmututorials.com/news/new-features/multiple-buddypress-social-networks/
