Topic: wp_editor get post content
Since none of plugin works with new wordpress and buddypress for rich text editor I have started to implement it myself manually directly into the theme.
After using wp_editor() I got the editor on my fourms and it is posting forums content well without issue. However when I am trying to edit forums post it is not loading any content into the text editor. I am using below code if anyone can help me.
$content = bp_the_topic_post_edit_text();
$args = array(
'textarea_name' => 'post_text'

wp_editor( $content, 'post_text', $args);This doesnt load the forum post content just wonder. I have tested with the sting and just works fine it loads the string but not the actual content with the function. I dont know either this is the right function to get the content or not.

Topic: Left sidebar not visible
I am currently using WordPress, not the latest 3.5 but the one before that. And Buddypress version 1.6.2. The theme Im using is Custom Community
For some reason, my left side menu bar is not showing up on the site. I have added a few widgets to it from my dashboard, but nothing shows up on the front end.
Is this an issue with the theme, or am I doing something wrong?I am just making the site for a project, and am NOT learned in coding at all.

Agonist.org recently went to WordPress from a prehistoric version of Drupal using a consultant to import the data. Due to miscommunication, he didn’t know we were also using BuddyPress and I think some of the data files and configuration might not be right.
The basic part of the blog works fine. We can add / edit / delete posts fine. But the users pages and activity stream have a borked CSS. The right column appears under the main data, not next to it, where it should be.

WordPress database error: [Out of memory (Needed 11272160 bytes)]

I have the following filters set up in my theme’s functions.php file to make a custom activation email for new users. Most everything works, but the only problem is the activation url does not pull trough the activation key, it’s just blank after ‘?key=’ what am I missing here to get the activation key (and avoid having to alter bp-core files):

I want to redirect users to login page if the access Activity page so it’s only accessible by login users. Is there any plugin or do you guys know where I should change?
The site is already in production so I want easy solutions.

It did last night. And since then I was editing the header of my theme and upgraded to the current release of WordPress. I undid my theme changes after discovering the control panel thingymajig wasn’t expanding.
Is this a plugin issue with the latest WP release?
With Buddypress enabled, blogging clients that access the xmlrpc cannot connect and give an error message of: blogger.getUsersBlogs method received was invalid: Invalid response document returned from XmlRpc server.
With Buddypress disabled, blogging clients can connect fine.
In relation, this also affects JetPack and is the reason why Buddypress must be disabled before JetPack can be connected to WordPress.
Something in Buddypress is either a) locking the XmlRpc file, b) changing the standard XmlRpc api calls, or c) something else.
Has anyone seen this before?
