You haven’t said – WP/BP versions and if is was corrected if you deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress
@gatoresg I know what you mean. You need to go through Step 3 of the BP Compatibility process https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/wordpress-to-buddypress-theme/ and make the HTML structure of the BP template files compatible with your Leetpress theme like many other themes listed at the lower half of the webpage I linked to above.

I’ve already done that. With only the BP plugin enabled and even using the default template for Buddypress I get all my old comments showing that I posted them and linking to my member page.
If I disable Buddypress plugin everything works fine… So that is why I assumed it was something in Buddypress…

I have found the solution.. just completely delete buddypress and install a new one…

@shanebp ‘truly awful’ is a rather strong turn of phrase, the developer is quite well known in the community and might be upset by that 
– I’ve no actual experience of the plugin so can offer no opinion either way.
@giftoly True – no answer to that one sadly. You should be getting your posts showing in your ‘Your Activity’ page though?
@oklamokla – that theme has not been updated for some time and support for that theme has been dropped by the developers. You can use a WP theme and install the BP Template Pack plugin to go through the BP compatibility process. WP/BP versions? You’re referring to comments in blog posts, correct? BuddyPress doesn’t cause this kind of issue. Change to bp-default theme and deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress to see if issue is corrected and work from there.

@hellsailor you do not “move” to BuddyPress. BuddyPress is a WordPress plugin, so you add this plugin to your WordPress installation.

try changing your display name to something different from login, that appears to circumvent an issue with activity stream then you posts should appear under your activity, also whenever replying ensure @mention is used @username so that messages are triggered.

Anyway, after I have installed buddypress profile progression and changed the code in line 31 to: $profile_value = trim(bp_get_profile_field_data( $field,$user_id ));

‘Events’ isn’t a feature of BuddyPress as such nor of WP so can’t really advise on that – I presume this is a custom plugin, perhaps something like buddyvents? which I think can make use of blogs for events but not sure that’s a mandatory requirement.
WP/BP versions? What have you changed recently in your installation? Change to bp-default theme and deactivate plugins except BuddyPress to start troubleshooting.
