Hey. Has somebody ever needed that Google´s (or any other adress source) for using onto the adittional fields on buddypress? I need it for the user to subscribe and use the proper adress (or even city, or the state) to complete the subscription properly..

Or something like:
User selects the ESTATE (from a dropdown field) and then the system searches (and filters) the cities that that estate has, so returns only the cities from that estate…
Anyone has ever needed to adapt budypress to use this specific field?

I enabled direct registration of new members and disabled email confirmation.
Everything works fine on the buddypress registration page
But when I register a new user through the worpress panel >> Users >> new user, it activates as a member but not in activities
Does anyone know a way to definitely activate these users registered on the panel without sending an email and having to do the first login?

This question is about how compatible plugins are with other plugins.
I was told that the answer to a question would only work for bbPress, and not other forum plugins, but I’m wondering if there are exceptions. For example, there might be something that works for BuddyPress, bbPress, and other forum plugins. If that is the case, people who are using BuddyPress might find this topic useful, if they learn from this topic that they can look in more places to find out what they need. Knowing that it can’t be done this way, if that is the case, might also be useful for them.
What is the best way to find a plugin (or whatever I need, if I don’t already have it) that will make, in my menu, something that has (1) “Topics Started”, (2) “Replies Created”, (3) “Topics Replied To”, and (4) “Subscribed Topics” in a bbPress forum? That information would only be about the user who is logged in. The following link can be used to show three of those four things that I mentioned, and two more that I might also be able to use.

Please tell me if there is a way to do it with a widget, so I can compare the menu with a widget. I’d like for the plugin (or whatever it is) to be as simple as possible. I couldn’t find anything at wpbeginner. I found a few plugins that I think could do it, but I couldn’t figure out how reliable and dangerous they are. What specific plugin, pages, or etc. was/were used to create the three things (that I have been describing) specifically in the BuddyPress page (that the two pictures, that the above two links go to, are of), and can it/they be used with bbPress?
Is it easier to do this type of thing with BuddyPress than it is with bbPress?

Hi all..
my Buddypress installs keep creating loads of duplicate admin emails (“you have a new message”). I’ve got 140 in total! – 9 {{{site.name}}} New message from {{sender.name}} emails. All created same day – many at the exact time – others just a few minutes apart.Anyone have ideas on
a) why this is happening
b) which duplicates to delete – ie which 1 of the duplicates (each email has an ID) is the site/install actually using?Thanks

I’ve just checked the xProfile custom visibility feature, It works as expected for me.
As you’re mentioning Elementor, have you tried deactivating this plugin to see if there was something messing with BuddyPress on their end?
But out of curiosity what is the type of the field (see list below)?

My current WP configuration:
Theme used: buddyX
plugins: buddypress, BPprofilsearch, Youzify, BuddyPress Xprofile custom field types,I want to make a paid registration module with several price levels offering different possibilities.
I would like to add 3 types of profile. 1/ man member profile , 2/ girl member profile and 3/ profile for people who consult members’ files (visitors). I want the choice of profile type to give a different registration form page.
The informations in the cells to be completed in the registration form is transferred to the profile area of each member’s file in buddypress.
The plugins ” WP profile search” allows to filter on the member directory page.
The different filter possibilities are direct transfers of the cells to fill in the registration form.Do you know how to create this type of registration has 3 profil, therefore offering 3 different registration forms, and keeping the operating principle of buddy press knowing that the type of profile must also be in the sorting of WP profile search ?

Seriously. All I want is to make a simple button that links to the current users profile without having to lean PHP and there is nothing. Something I could easily do with any other page on my site. There is literally people begging for a simple solution going back at least eight years!!! And BuddyPress devs are twiddling their thumbs and counting the cash they duped a-holes like me. If I have to Lear PHP then why do I need BuddyPress?!!
Can anyone recommend a market place or a directory of programmers – or an individual perhaps – who might be prepared to help me improve the BuddyPress forum I’m running? My small group is willing to pay an hourly fee for occasional help.
We are generally satisfied with the way BuddyPress works out of the box, and we’re not interested in all the bells and whistles provided by paid-for themes like BuddyBoss. We’d just like to change a few of things BuddyPress provides, and above all try to understand the basics.
We are not interested in learning to code – that’s not what we want to use BuddyPress for. I’m our member with most knowledge of WordPress and I feel I’ve reached the end of what I can do on my own. I’m looking for help, but we can’t pay big bucks, so is there somewhere BuddyPress coders market their skills to help people in our situation?

I currently have BuddyPress Create Group Type and BuddyPress installed on my word press website. I use it such a way the administrators of each group do not necessarily have to edit a few of the settings because they are usually less tech savy. I would like to know is it possible to hide some of the settings on the front end in the management window such as settings, delete and forums.Also I would like to know if it is possible to have the email information that is sent to person when they are rejected from a group to be changed? Because we find the you have been rejected message a bit harsh.
