Well we bought it, but cant get it to install, completely white screen on instalation 500 server error.

@ray … looks like I do not have an .htaccess file … which is weird. Is there a standard .htaccess file that should be present?
For BP_AVATAR_URL, try:

For BP_AVATAR_UPLOAD_PATH, you can try the snippet posted by 3dperuna:

But in some cases, that isn’t accurate. Only you can enter in the correct filepath.
You could temporarily try setting the BP_AVATAR_URL and BP_AVATAR_UPLOAD_PATH in wp-config.php:

Yup, that’s doable.

If nothing else I was hoping it would consolidate the user accounts so people won’t have to log into two separate things.
There are limitations, but it depends on what you mean by integration!
The tutorials I listed integrates single sign-on with standalone bbPress and WordPress, which consequently means BuddyPress as well.
@r-a-y Like I said that doesn’t integrate it with buddypress.
@alierkurt – Is BuddyPress activated network wide on your WP 3.0 install?
@doug.daulton – Just saw your screenshots. Make sure BuddyPress is activated network wide. See if that fixes your problem.

@r-a-y I tried to move and edit .htaccess but nothing changed. When I upgraded BP 1.2.5, I refreshed the page and couldn’t see the avatars.
What else should I do?

I upgraded it last week and didn’t have any problem. I had the missing avatar problem today when I upgrade from 1.2.4.1 to 1.2.5

That sounds like a PHP4/5 bug. What version of BuddyPress are you on?

Yeah, but like I was saying this thread sounded like by integrating the two it would integrate the user accounts too.
