My BuddyPress site has all links that redirect to home. Tried everything to no avail. My site is http//:www.linkedbees.com try any link and you´ll see. How can I solve this? Thx!

why is the activity pagination in the general template? Shouldnt this be in the default template?
So now if there’s an update to buddypress and I update core, my changes will be reverted?
Why is it that nothing seems to work that’s by Buddypress?
I can’t get an answer as to why I can’t create groups on my site.
And, when I try to go to page 2 on this forum to see if anybody has answered me, I get a blank screen that acts like it is trying to load, and never gets there. And, it’ s not just on this computer, but my laptop, too.
It also helps to change the default slugs to something else 
eg.

I have installed in my PC, the Xampp and the WordPress. I installed plugin BuddyPress and gave to the following message ” Without permissions enough to have access this page” What I am making of made a mistake?
Thanks @mercime. I haven’t submitted a theme before but I have read through the codex/theme links before. Just haven’t seen any info specifically discussing BuddyPress child themes.
If BuddyPress isn’t active, my child theme doesn’t work.
Do you know if that is going to be an issue? I have looked through other child themes in the repository and they seemed to make it through.

Upload bp-custom.php to wp-content/plugins/ folder (NOT in buddypress folder) and it’s going to work.
e.g.

Are you sure you meant ” wp-content/plugins/” or wp-content/plugins/buddypress/?
I already uploaded it to wp-content/plugins/buddypress with the define code

etc) But with my changes…. Nothing’s changed.

Create bp-custom.php and upload it to wp-content/plugins/ folder and no, the file won’t be wiped out be future updates. Include bp-custom.php whenever you make a backup of server files.
Quick question:
So I create Bp-Custom (I am editing the slugs), but will this file be wiped out by future updates?
I dont think there is anyway around the this. I would suggest sending a message to all users saying the site will be down from xx:00 – xx:00.
Do you know of a guide that includes locking down the database so that my users can’t write to it during the dns changes?

bbPress the plugin is still in beta, so I wouldn’t install it in live site. The Lead Developer of BuddyPress is the same Lead Dev for bbPress so you can be sure it will be made fully compatible in the near future.
As to your first question, groups has around 4 tables so I suggest you leave them be even if you disable the groups. As always, before making drastic changes, backup DB and server files.
