The line 1 in activate.php said

Topic: Blog posts mixed up
Hello and thanks so much in advance for any help you can offer. I have created a BuddyPress site that is just taking off, it is for a non-profit group I am a member of. I noticed that I could not update the categories in my own blog, nor access the posts through my dashboard(I have created 3 blogs on the site) I have a superadmin user ID, sunshine, and an Editor ID, handsun. The Blogs have all been created with my editor ID, but the edit a post link actually takes me to the blog the SuperAdmin created in the main site. The blogs are all mixed up.
I did notice that I had chosen bp-default theme in Appearances, but when I looked in FTP, the theme was only located in the plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/ folder, so I disabled the bp-default in the Appearances section and copied the folder to wp-content/themes and then reactivated it, but no change. I also added the plugin quickpress, and activated it in Site Admin, sitewide, but see no change in the appearance of the backends of the site. Thanks again, Carin
I’ve just done a new clean install of everything (WP, DB, Buddypress) and the same thing has happened again.
I thought it might be because I’d not changed my permalink setting to anything other than the default, but clearly not. I guess it’s this memory issue which is strange because it’s never been a problem with other plugins/scripts that I’ve used before. Is there any reason why Buddypress is so ‘greedy’ with memory?
i do not want to redirect my user to be redirected , if they entered any wrong password to the wordpress log-in page…..can any one help me with it plz using latest version of wp and buddypress
I’ve just set up a clean install of WP on a subdomain of my main domain to test Buddypress. After installing it and clicking ‘Activate’ I got the error ‘HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)’.
I now can’t access the Admin part of the site at all, but I can access the front-end. Could it be something to do with the fact I’ve installed it on a subdomain (error in the .htaccess file perhaps)?
Any suggestions?

I’m looking to set up something similar to Quora and wondered whether Buddypress would be suited to this?
What I’m after are the social features of Buddypress (such as follow/connections), plus Q&A features so users can ask and answer questions and also vote on the best ones. So far I’ve found plugins that do the social side, or the Q&A side, but haven’t found one yet that does both…

I’m asking the question, because bots have some trouble to index redirected URI, but I’m using activities many times… Il saw it’s easy to code the slugs to use the right one. Is it risky, and cause trouble in the site ?I’m sure this has been covered but my relatively weak Google-fu (and search-fu as it applies to this forum) has come up with very little that can help me with this.
I currently have one WP3 install, multi-site, subdomain, that just hosts sites with content on them. No community stuff. Subdomain install. Let’s say it’s http://www.mysite.com.
I want to have BuddyPress installed in order to give users blogs and have a community, but I am paranoid about them being able to use the plugins I have installed (since the plugin limitation plugins I’ve found do not properly work on the latest WP version) AND from what I understand, I can’t have BuddyPress give users a subdirectory blog on a subdomain install.
tl;dr: Here’s what I want to do:
– have one WP install with just content. Subdomain install.
— http://www.mysite.com, blah.mysite.com, blahblah.mysite.com etc.
— In a perfect world, be able to embed BuddyPress stuff into this site, too.
– have a WP install just for a community OR a BuddyPress install that would let users use subdirectories. (Possibly-undesirable plugins isolated, if that’s the case.) Subdirectory install.
— community.mysite.com/userblog1 etc.
— Probably integrate with Simple:Press too, but that’s outside the scope of what I need help with and I can deal with that myselfI already know that there’s a way to share user tables by way of wp-config. What the big deal is now is if this is possible to properly execute. With that in mind, has anyone tried this or know how to pull it off?
