Apologies if this has been answered already. I have modified the BuddyPress “home” theme to look the way I want it to, but I’d like to have the “member” themes follow the same design. When someone creates a new blog, the theme that shows up is the BuddyPress theme that has not been modified. How can I make it so that all blogs look the same so that the site will be tied together with the same design?
Topic: Moving from Xoops
I am looking at moving from Xoops to Buddypress. My major concern is converting the forum CBB to bbpress. I have a mediawiki integration which can be stand alone and a group blog that is wordpress based so that should not be an issue. It is the forum that is holding me back. Any suggestions or experience on this would be appreciated.
Hi,
After a little testing and proof of concept with BuddyPress groups I feel they could benfit with the following improvements (correct me if I am wrong and they already do this!)
1. Allow a setting which ensures only Admin user of Buddy Press can create groups. At present it seems you can turn Group Creation off but this seems to disable visibility of groups for all users regardless if there are any groups existing. There are cases when you want global control of groups not allow anyone to create them.
2. If you are the creator and only member of the group you cannot remove yourself – agreed why would you – but when you do it caused a blank screen hiding I presume an error.
Keep up the good work! I am off to test somemore

Topic: Theme install error message
I’m getting the following error:
“You do not have any BuddyPress themes installed.
Please move “/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/” to “/wp-content/bp-themes/” and refresh this page. You can download more themes here.”
I Have moved these files already, and refreshed etc but I still get this error

Topic: subdomain help
I have WPMU/Buddypress installed on an addon domain on my Hostgator buddy account. However the DNS provider is Godaddy. To enable wildcard subdomains I added an A record to Godaddy (* MYIP 1 hour). Earlier when I tried to click on a user created blog (Blog1), it would goto blog1.domainname.com and show a page not found error. Since creating the A record, it shows a directory structure with cgi-bin as the only directory.
How do I find out:
1) If the problem is with my DNS provider, host, the fact that it is an add on domain and not the main domain or some issue with the buddypress install?
2) Where this directory actually resides (if i click to browser cgi-bin, it tells me permission denied.
\apache2triad\htdocs\wordpress/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/ to
