Topic: remove header
Is it possible to remove Buddypress header on a specific page while using the BuddyX themes?
Hi
I want to link woocommerce product and buddypress forum via tags. When user opening particular forum discussion, i would like to load the products which has same tag that are added to discussion also vice versa. How is possible?
Saving settings gives a “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” message. Trying to set to Nouveau won’t save. It just keeps going back to Legacy. Totally not working anymore.
Backstory: On a multisite. Past experiments with Buddypress on this multisite. Problems emerged during attempts to set up a new site in the multisite using Buddypress.
Troubleshooting attempts included shutting down other plugins, turning on registration of new users and sites, deleting table data in phpMyAdmin, etc. Tried deleting the subsite and recreating it. tried switching up themes. Tried clearing the cache. All work using Superadmin accounts.
The rest of the multisite is working fine.
No luck. Am I missing something that keeps it hopelessly broken, no matter how many times I try to wipe it and try again?
Hi, I just wanted to let people know that German users have a complete translation now on wp.org when they install or update BuddyPress.
(Until yesterday, while the basic frontend was covered, ~1000 translations were missing)
You may also review my work on this link and submit any fixes you might have:
Lookup buddypress on translate.wordpress.org, avigate to German and select my per-Project
translations there. I am not including links for now as my other topic was flagged as spam.I am still working on some fixups, if you find anything to comment on, please do,
and submit your improvements if you can (just signup on the page)! If you need the formal German, reply here, I am subscribing this topic.

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.Hi there,
Trying to work out the kinks of the membership portion of a client’s site before going live and am having some issues with the groups feature.
Whenever I send an invitation to a user to join the group, they get an email with a “go here to accept your invitation” link and a “visit the group” link. The latter goes the group page (but does not allow interaction since they are not yet a member), and the former goes to a blank page that just displays the banner and the footer and nothing else. Any ideas on why this is happening?
I’m using both buddypress and youzify together.
I’m working on a fiction/narrative piece and need a very specific site for my readers. I think BuddyPress might be the perfect solution…if I can lock it down and prevent logged in users from editing everything.
The plan is to create a new website using BuddyPress, create only a handful of accounts, fill them up with content and finally allow my readers to log into each and read the conversations, view friends, relationships, etc. BUT…my readers should not be able to change ANYthing. This includes every single thing in BuddyPress as well as updating the user account info. Think of this site I’m describing as a way to snoop
To recap:
- Site: Brand new, members only. The public can’t see a thing without logging in. Thinking BuddyPress (obviously!) + other plugins could fill the bill here.
- The entire site will be private, and users have to log in to read each profile. This will allow readers to view different sides of the story by reading private messages just between 2 characters.
- I’ll create several accounts then create content showing them are interacting with each other.
- I want to allow my readers to actually log in to each account, but prevent them from changing ANYthing. They should be able to click around, read private messages and “consume” everything that that user has access to.
- Admins can still edit content: This is a nice to have, but not a deal breaker. I’ll be setting up the entire site and creating all the content before I allow my readers to be able to log in.
Possible? Would love your thoughts on this. I feel there might be a super simple custom bit of PHP in
bp-custom.phpor another approach?Thanks!
Topic: Fatal Error Log
Hello,
We are experiencing some issues with our website members.drnima.com.
Some users can’t log in to the site (blank screen). We checked the site’s error log and found a record indicating error with BuddyPress. We can’t replicate the issue or find if BuddyPress plugin is conflicting with some other plugins (maybe Memberium?).
Can you please look at the error log below and see if you can identify the issue? Thank you!
Here is the log:

}Hi BP community,
In my community website, When users post something, I would like users to have only one privacy possibility : post in groups.
My website is based only on groups, and the activity post can only be in the groups.
Then, I would like to change the behavior of the form pop-up used to post an activity in the activity feed to behave as showed on the screen attached below.
To achieve that, I started to search some answers in the file “bp-templates/bp-nouveau/js/buddypress-activity-post-form.js”, but there is a lot of information and I don’t know if I’m in the right way.
Can someone help me to achieve that ?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Could I please get assistance on how to resolve this issue?
I’m unable to edit any page using Elementor whilst using buddypress, I need to deactivate buddypress whenever I edit pages.
