Participant@naturalworldstm my question was based on the previous post, not the original post. So just to make sure that it’s not your default install that’s causing the issue.
– Check if any changes were made in your Settings > General. Make sure you’re using the UTC+/- selection instead of city name.
– Deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress, refresh browser and check if time is corrected.March 31, 2013 at 11:01 pm #159543In reply to: Need help with post button in a responsive layout

Participant@charlietech What theme are you using? You can either a) just use CSS to hide the avatar and then move the status update box to the left or b) remove lines 16 through 20 of post-form.php and then adjust style of status update form in your theme’s style.css

ModeratorClosest thing you will get. No other plugin sends anything to Facebook. This plugin sends status updates. You can have it modified to send notices.

@naturalworldstm not at this time. There’s a new function which combines primary/secondary nav menus into one https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4629 scheduled for BP 1.7March 31, 2013 at 7:17 pm #159526In reply to: Buddypress to Facebook Notifications

@mercime
Participant@boiy looks more like a regular WP issue rather than a BuddyPress issue. Which login page are you referring to? wp-login.php does not have a header nor footer
March 31, 2013 at 6:12 pm #159514In reply to: Site compatibility with Buddypress
@mercime
ParticipantI had just come across a thread yesterday on the BuddyPress site about how to edit our header, footer, etc. PHP files so that BuddyPress would work
@nasc generally, that would be the case if you were still on BP 1.6.5 or below. BP 1.7 beta and RC versions should automagically insert BP template files into your theme if your theme adheres to the WP templating system otherwise it won’t work.One way to resolve this is to create a file named buddypress.php which you would need to upload your theme’s folder in server. buddypress.php should contain the HTML structure of a page with sidebar or full-width (up to you and the theme author) as well as the_title() and the_content()
As an aside, if you’re going to have bbPress sitewide/group forums, you would need a bbpress.php file as well. Copy the content of the buddypress.php file into bbpress.php and upload the latter into theme’s folder in server as well.

Participant@isisjade Where is BuddyPress activated? In main site (default) or did you define it to work in subsite? Did you activate BuddyPress in main/subsite or did you activate it sitewide? By the same token did you activate bbPress where BuddyPress is activated (main/subsite)?

Participant@asoldier looks like BuddyPress is not activated in your site at this time. Closing this topic.
Please create a new topic should the need arise.March 31, 2013 at 4:54 pm #159499@mercime
Participant@kasarlaravi That would entail some modifications to your template files. BuddyPress 1.7 is coming out soon and you would be able to import BP’s internal Group Forums into bbPress plugin where that functionality is available by default.

ParticipantIt does user registrations, site registrations and logged out user comments.
I don’t actually use BuddyPress, so don’t have any way to test it in a live situation myself. It is dealing with my blog comment spam flawlessly though.

Participantdefinitely questionable if you have an alternate forum up already but the main thing you would be getting would be a tighter integration and less trouble you might want to look into it a bit and see if theres an easy way to convert your existing data to bbpress format.
