@volvo_owmer something’s getting lost in translation. Not quite clear what you want. What has Cars got to do with the members exactly. Both links lead to non-WP/BP sites and have lots of elements within. Are you looking to hire a developer to create a custom theme and plugins for your site?

For distribution purposes I would like to include my customized buddypress language files in my theme alongside my other language files. No matter what I try though I can only get the language files to display if I copy them over to wp-content/languages as described in the buddypress codex. I thought that the following would work, but it doesn’t:

load_theme_textdomain('buddypress', get_template_directory() . '/lang');

add_action('plugins_loaded', 'load_buddypress_language_files');
This is possible, right?

So, it turns out that the problem was with my translation file. Dont know why, but after updated it worked like a charm.

Sorry, not quite clear. Do you mean after you see the error message you get redirected to other tabs or do you mean something else?
This error show there for first time
Where does the error show for the first time? Isn’t it after you send the message? Or when you click on the other tabs?

What theme are you using? Have you considered that the Log Out button may be a image? If that is the case then translation would not effect the image but of course this is pure speculation.
where can I find the right file to do a manual translation of Log out in the sidebar?

i have full translation of buddypress-dev-id.mo (my translation) but i rather confuse where i put this file in my installation. my Wp already in my ID language (indonesia).
where can i put this file ? should i rename the file into what ?

So I am currently trying to make my wordpress theme compatible with Buddypress, and the “tweaking the layout” section is causing some troubles. I can’t seem to figure out how to fix the alignment. It says in the tutorials, that I should change the HTML structure selected BuddyPress template files to match the structure of your WP theme’s page.php or index.php file.
I am having trouble with finding the structure – it does not look quite right on my site. Can somebody help my figure out my HTML structure in the following, and how I should insert these in my buddypress files?

3.5.x in vietnamese is not translated for the moment, so you probably have to search for previous version. And 3.4 is only 79% translated
No luck too for bp vietnamese translation: nothing !

So you have to translate BP in your language, (read codex if you don’t know how to do that or search on this forum) then you have to add buddypress-vi_VI.mo into wp-content/languages/ folder

No way, notifications doesn’t work. 🙁
I’ve also another problem (but is less important, than the ones above).
Users can’t edit their own forum posts, also if I’ve setup editing time to 15 minutes.
Other ideas?
That’s potentially quite a few things maybe going on. So, I’m going to try and strip back to each issue. If you use the default theme with no translation do you get the notification email and status bar?

Thanks for your hint, but this issue isn’t related to the translation. I removed the language files and the titles are still broken.
Something getting messed up, looks to be possibly a translation error? My local test doesn’t show same issue, if you explore further and can establish it’s a bug open a trac ticket.
