In addition to the Avatar issue previously posted, I am seeing user management issues in 1.2.5. When I attempted to do batch “mark as spam” and batch delete of the following users in 1.2.5, I got the WSoD. If I refreshed, the action would have happened for the first one in the batch, but not the others. So, I was forced to do each one individually.

14. Self-hostedI did the upgrade to WP 3.0 & BP 1.2.4. Ever since, Member & Group Avatars are a mess. I’ve tried to roll back, but the problem appears to remain. This was after a complete roll back to the old files and DB. Along the way, I discovered that Avatars are not actually stored on the filesystem. Can someone point me to the docs on how avatars are stored? They appear to be stored as BLOBs in the DB with a redirect to /files/PATHTOAVATAR beeing pointed at a DB call.

Wondering if anyone is aware of a theme/plugin/core feature to BuddyPress where registered users would be able post resumes or submit job listings. I’ve seen a few for self-hosted WordPress sites but if I’m going to extend this website this far, I would like to have it integrated with BuddyPress to drive registered users.
Your thoughts.

Hi I’m running bp Version 1.2.5 and wp Version 3.0 on xampp/localhost. Also have a child theme, which includes a copy of index.php from bp-defaults theme..
After playing arround with forums extra plugins and rate forum post plug-in’s I tried to do a search ( not saying its plug-in related.. ), and I get this error:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at F:Programmesxampphtdocswordpresswp-contentpluginsbuddypressbp-themesbp-defaultgroupsgroups-loop.php:3) in F:Programmesxampphtdocswordpresswp-includesplugin.php on line 395
This is when using the search ( search anything ) on the groups page and forums page. Halp plox

Topic: BuddyPress Installation
Are there any BuddyPress / WordPress guru’s out there that charge a flat amount for a BP install and simple theme integration? I have installed BP without any trouble, but to get my current theme to work with BP installed has been a nightmare for a man who is a total novice to CSS and
structure.Much thanks!
see my blog post : http://php-peoplehateperl.blogspot.com/2010/07/buddypress-restore-failed.html
Buddypress restore failed
Using buddypress, I imported my ning users. Then a blog.
Now I exported the entire system into a new wp, and restored it.
The users are messed up, two users have the wrong avatar, and when I try and delete them :Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /data/web/4d/15/05/flossk.tuxfamily.org/htdocs/wordpress-test/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-groups/bp-groups-classes.php on line 1053
Hmm…

I have a tradition wordpress blog, self hosted. http://blog.davidhthomas.net
I tried installing the listed buddypress plugin and it crashed my admin access, blank page. had to delete through ftp.
Any help would be appreciated. I have heard that buddypress must have its own install. But it is clearly listed as an available plugin.
Thanks
David
