Hi All,
Is there any plugin(s) or code edits that would allow you to moderate the creation of groups, eg. Once a user creates a new group it is automatically added to a queue in the backend where the Admin has to approve it before it is actually created. This would eliminate unwanted groups and duplicates.
I searched and haven’t found what I am looking for. Also I have checked out these plugins:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-restrict-group-creation/
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-group-management/
And they don’t have this functionality, yet anyway.
Thanks
Topic: Post moderation queue?
Does buddypress group/forum allow for post moderation?
I’m looking for a way to limit spam by approving and then once a member reach a certain number; each post after that will not be held for moderation.
[wordpress2.9.2+buddypress1.2.3]
I followed the instructions but i don’t Know how to “Set my members.php to use “BP_Members_Filter” instead of “BP_Core_Members_Template””
I don’t understand where i can find “members.php” file.
is ‘BP Member Filter’ plugin not compatible with wordpress 2.9.2 ??
Topic: List of TESTED themes
Hi
New to buddypress. I installed WordPress and BuddyPress. I am prompted to change the permalink. When I do that I get the 404 Not Found page for everything. When I put it back to the default permalink the site is back up but the Activity, Members, and Groups link result in the 404 page. What am I missing?
Thanks
Ed
Topic: Site Wide Posts
Just curious, never noticed this before. I use the Recent Site wide posts in my Buddypress/ WordPressMU installation.
When viewing the main site, it shows recent site wide posts of all blogs. But when I go to one particular members profile page – it only shows the recent posts of their blog – not the whole site. But my personal profile and blog it shows the whole site.
I am really confused now. Is this users blog corrupted, should I create a new one for them? I have just transfered my whole site to a new domain. But it is just his blog which won’t work correctly. Plus he says the only way he can login to the site is from his blog – he can’t log in from the main login page. But when I log in on his account from my computer, I can. Very strange.
Buddypress 1.2.3 and WPMU 2.9.2
