@fuzylogiq Some BP plugins have their own template files patterned after the bp-default theme. Usually you would transfer said plugin template files/folder into your own active theme. Then open up each plugin template file and superimpose the HTML structure of your theme onto each plugin template.

@obsidianmarketing based on what I’ve seen on theme’s author’s site, Kaboodle parent theme has support for BP, bbPress and WooCommerce. You should post inquiries about the theme with the theme author.

And therein lies the problem. If you’re going to use BuddyPress, do a manual installation as there have been hiccups with webhost scripts https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/before-installing/#system-and-server-requirements

ParticipantIt is very strange that Buddypress.org hasn’t integrated links/video/photos to the Activity Stream and that we depend only on WPMUDEV for this one plugin to solve an extremely obvious and basic issue for ANY social networking solution (it is inconceivable not to have media uploading capacities in the Activity Stream).
Also it is incredible that only ONE plugin exists to solve this thing…thx to the lack of competition the developer of this plugin rests on a very incomplete solution with no apparent sense of urgency to make it better (please someone develop a competing plugin!).
In the meantime I adhere to the needs of this forum that it is imperative that this plugin must be compatible with iOS6 (all apple products).
IT IS URGENT!!!!!!!
NOTE: The fact that this plugin is offered for free does not give license to the developer to make it lousy…it undermines the whole open-source wordpress enterprise.

Inactive@joshuathecreated have you tried developer tools like firebug for firefox to isolate the css and tweak it. Google chrome also has developer tools.

Memberwow, you are awesome. any idea on how i can align it to be centered? currently, it’s hugging the left side of the top and isn’t aligned very good.

2.) Insert the below code and save the file:

Participant@mercime my site is live and running very smooth but did noticed a couple very small things… Lets say someone tries to add me as a friend, I can see the “Cancel Friendship Request” button but I can not see any “Accept Friendship Request” button. Is this a problem you have ran into before and if so, do you know of a solution. I have been searching the forums but have not found a problem or solution related to my situation in particular.

Out-of-the-box, BP has a Send Invites link on the Groups forum. We don’t want that link unless you are a Group Admin or Group Moderator. Currently, we only have 1 private group set at this time with a group moderator. It is Group 17. But I know we will be getting more and more of these instances and I want to avoid hard coding the Groups each time to control the Send Invites link.
See my code below from a plug-in I wrote. It is in next thread post.

I have progressed to the point of having to hard code the group ID because I can’t capture it on the fly while in the Group section of the Loop.

`Everything else works — `groups_is_user_mod()`, `groups_is_user_admin()`, and `get_current_user_id()`.
Right now I have hardcoded the Group ID and assigned it to var $guid. But I want to do this dynamically so I don’t have to manually hardcode certain group ids.
Here’s what I want to get to work:

elseif (groups_is_user_admin( get_current_user_id(), bp_get_group_id() ) == “1”) return;

`$guid` is still empty during the loop in my Groups.

My question is not how to display it. My question is how to capture it.
Currently I assign it to a variable like this `$guid = bp_get_group_id();`
The problem is that while I am in the loop of groups & discussions, the current group id is not being captured. `bp_get_group_id()` returns an empty string or NULL.
Also, I issued a bug report on it as well.
