I would like to ash if there are some of you in here, who will be able to help me on my website. Or if you can recommend some good companies?
When I try to accept a friend request it sends me to “http://mysite/BBtestsite/friends/requests?new” and the page displays “Page not found”. This is my first time using buddypress so I imagine this is something easy that I just setup incorrectly. I’m on a fresh install of wordpress 3.5.1 running buddypress 1.7. I have no plugins active other than buddypress and I am using the buddypress default theme. The site is on a subdomain I created in my cpanel and is not a multisite. I also have the permalinks setup as “day and name”. I hope someone can help me, I looked all over Google but can’t seem to find anyone with the exact same problem.
The login popup is not working anymore since this morning, I obtain:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access this file on this server.
Standard wp-login.php page is accessible and user management is working fine. It’s just the login from buddypress extension which is not working anymore…
On the Front -End Sidebar Multisite:
wp 3.5.1 bp 1.7 bbpress 2.3 rc1 multisite
bp_blogs-widgets.php —-> (BuddyPress) Recent Networkwide Posts does not drop the (BuddyPress) in the front-end like the other widgets. I think it probably should.
At the moment on the front-end you get “(BuddyPress) Recent Networkwide Posts” as the title.
is this a very tiny oversight ????? Otherwise so far so bleeding awesome! Thanks.
Topic: Shopping for a Chatroom
Hi All
We want to integrate a chatroom onto a page on our wordpress/buddypress site.
In a perfect world it would have the following:
1. Custom Avatars
2. Externally hosted (by someone else with a reliable infrastructure and support if we have problems, we just want to imbed it into a page)
3. Possibly games
4. Possibly videochat
5. Must be reliableWe are a local charity so our budget is as little as possible (we can possibly afford $200). I have experimented with numerous free ones and have yet to find something decent that works.

There appears to be glitch with the bp-forum-notifier (1.3.1) plugin having an unprotected call to is_site_admin(). This seems to trash the installation and restoring files does NOT recover from the problem.

I’m wanting to simplify the creation of new groups by removing steps.
I would like there to be only 1 step to create the group to include title and description. Any other options in the other steps I would like to remove as there will be no avatars and all groups will be public and open to all members.
Any help would be appreciated.

BuddyPress 1.7 Last version.Since the update of the 1.7, i can’t add friends…
When someone add me, i see correctly the notification, but when i click on it, or, when i go in my profile > Friends > Request, Buddypress just tell me “No friend request pending” (I translated it from the french version. It may not be the exact english message !)I have no idea why it don’t work…
