Topic: Too many tabs
I have updated my Buddypress and as usual it is a challenge!
Every time I update I have to add my local language file and this time I had to resize my header image (from 125*1250 to 133*1250)
But now, all my Tabs are double up in Danish and English:
Forside, Aktiviteter, Brugere, Grupper, Debat, Blogs, Activities, Blogs, Forums, Groups, Hjælp, Members, OmHow to eliminate the English and keep the local?
How can i held new topics, new groups and new comments for moderation from the admin panel before they appear on the website…? i am using wordpress 3.3 and buddypress 1.5.2
Why is there no search feature for the support Forums if there is can someone chaneg the layout so it appears at the top of the page – like WP codex.
Trying to search manually 12000 topics does nor work.

It seems that any additional plugin I add on top of BuddyPress chooses to ignore my settings for the order or menu tabs in users’ profiles. The other tabs maintain the correct order when clicked on, but these two (in this case, Achievements and Album+) display a completely different order. I’ve modified a bp-custom.php file to specify my preferred order, which is as follows:
Profile | Messages | Activity | Album | Friends | Groups | Achievements | Settings
When I click on either the Album or the Achievements tabs, I get the following order:
Activity | Friends | Groups | Messages | Settings | Profile | Achievements | Album
I’m rather stumped on this one, any help would be much appreciated.
Hey all,
I seem to be having some issues with the transition from old WP to new.
A sequence of unfortunate events has lead me to wipe out my once beautifully integrated WP-BP coupon enthusiast site (www.shopcents.net). The entire site was fine one day, and completely a wreck the next. I was getting redirection errors as well as 404’s on every page and blank screens when trying to access the dashboard. I had to delete all themes and plugins from my ftp manager. Now, starting fresh again I installed the WordPress update 3.3 and next on my list was to install Buddypress again. I did so through the Plugins page and upon activation I get a blank screen. When Buddypress is deleted, everything goes back to normal. To make sure this wasn’t a site or hosting issue, I installed a Maintenance Mode plugin and all works fine.
My hosting company (of who I won’t mention any names) tells me that there are no hosting issues going on and therefore won’t help me. I am desperately seeking some advice from all the seasoned WP-BP veterans out there!

Ok, so I think I am still experiencing the CSS issue on page editing screens because I am developing a child theme of bp-default. I updated the functions.php file as provided on the ticket but am I supposed to alter my child theme functions.php file? I have no idea how that would go. Maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree? Please help!

endif;`I’m using WHMCS Bridge which creates a new user when somebody signs up to WHMCS.
This is great, but because it uses the email as the signup name, which can easily be changed to whatever the user wants, the @name given is pretty much the email address (such as @userdomain-com).
This isn’t good as it is giving spammers a field day, being able to figure out so many email addresses on the site.
Is there a way to either use only the first X amount of characters in the user name or, better still, giving the user the option to change the @name, even if they can only do it one time.
Is this possible?
