ParticipantI am having the same issue. Followed all of the install steps for WPMU & Buddypress. Activated bbpress from within Buddypress. Says it was successful and everything else works fine.. except no forums. I have the link but just get the white page of death. Same happens when I try and access from groups. Anyone have an idea what the issues is?

MemberI’m getting there with this now, but now I do a test register. I get the Fatal error page that has tried to look up /register/ in the blog table.
Any ideas?

ParticipantLike we’ve said in previous thread, BuddyPress is not currently network-aware. Everyone across the install will have their profile across the network(s).
Right now, if you want them completely separated, you need separate installations.

Participant“or will my site loose any features?”
If you have any extra plugins that pull in sitewide features from across blogs, you might.

ParticipantBuddypress works fine with WP 2.9.2. I am using both.
I am not sure I understand your problem.
Are you saying that you can’t sign in to the site?
Can’t register?
How about posting a link to your site.
I don’t like the WP register/login screen so I use a login with Ajax plugin.April 27, 2010 at 2:11 pm #75474In reply to: BuddyPress Bar on external pages

ParticipantEveryone’s happy now

And you can add in ‘Having ANYTHING Google in your WP footer will cause this to go pear-shaped.’ I had a Google ad and, until I removed it, got a white screen of death.

ParticipantThe only difference between WPMU and WPSA is that WPMU offers blogs to your users.

I just copied your code an the ” were wrong – so the code didn’t workHere is what works now with the widget-logic-plugin in my install:
bp_is_group() && ‘myGroupSlug’ == bp_current_item()
It just works

KeymasterAre the blogs visible to search engines? i.e. public. If you set them so they don’t appear to search engines, they won’t appear in the directory.

KeymasterI’ve moved sites from domain to domain before, but not IP to domain.
If you export your MySQL database, open it in a text editor, do you find any references to the IP still? Those need updating too.
