I found this confusing thread searching for a way to add the topic starter on my forums index page:

What do I need to have in my bp-custom.php file?

I have this:

And then this in my forums-loop.php template I have:

But all I get is “Deleted User”

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

@alfredojp, do you mean user nav and subnav ubder the avatar, if yes what changes do you want.

@alfredojp, ok here is how to customize it using css, change the ul class to something of your own, if you dont change it, whatever changes you make will affect the bp abum thumnail. i use this : it worked like a charm. make changes as u wish .picture-custom{width:140px;height:90px;}

index.php-style permalinks, usually found on some IIS installations but not all, do not work with BuddyPress out of the box. One option is to figure out a way to automatically prefix all incoming URLs with index.php that don’t have them already, perhaps in the equivalent of a .htaccess file. However, I’ve not had to sort this out before and I don’t have any experience with IIS.

Really all you have to do is move the folders and files and the wp database that backs it and then you update the settings in the wp-config.php file

Yeah, I’m about to move mine as well. Did it work alright for you? How’d you do it?

Change permalinks structure in admin to something else and save and see what happens.

That is correct.

We’re also working on an embedded form that visitors can use to submit plugin status updates directly on the wiki page. The form submissions will be automatically added to another spreadsheet to make it easy for you to review them and update in the master spreadsheet.
