Hello, I have a similar problem.

WP 4.1.1 + BP 2.2.1 Entrance to the site is carried out as the creator of websites (Super Admin).

I using multisite WP, when buddypress included as common to all sites – all works well,
when buddypress enabled separately for each site, the error appears on the tab Manage Signups – Pending – Error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” (wp-admin/users.php?page=bp-signups)

the error persists at all sites.

It will add a “Notifications” area to your profile page where your username mentions will queue up.

You wouldn’t necessarily need to hook into BuddyPress functions. Instead, the main thing to do would be to upload the file, associate that file with a BuddyPress member, and record any associated data for that upload (the user’s choice from your option list).

Check out the Attachments API (which is currently in the pipeline and should be available in the 2.3 release). As you’ll see, this kind of thing will be far easier going forward.

What do you mean by “implementing” ? The link shows a blog called Kevin Straw authored by Bill Blake.

All this is default behaviour of BuddyPress when user blogs are enabled.

FYI, there is no difference between SWA and My Groups when on the site activity page, except that this option is an activity tab filtered with a kind of just-my groups scope.

In other words, if you decide to not show group activities on SWA, this will also be the case when you show My Groups.

I’m affraid that none of the code snippet given here and there will handle separatly the activity page.

As the concerned component is always ‘activity’, and the concerned activity type is the one you filter (groups, last_update,etc). See bp_activity table for more type names.

hi again @buddypresslost i remember seeing a plugin that states it can do this or something similar on codecanyon a while back so ive gone and checked back there for you, im not 100 percent sure if it can do what your after but its only 14 dollars to buy this is the link.

Like i said im unsure and i havent read to much into it, maybe you could message the plugin author and ask him if it could be customized for your needs?

Hmm then again after reading more im not sure if its also only backend, maybee you could ask for integration though for what you need, might be worth a try i dunno?

I was wanting the scheduled post drop down like is in the real post editor to be on the BuddyBlog editor on the front side.

@buddypresslost Ok, you didn’t mention in your original post that you were already using BuddyBlog which is an entirely a different matter 🙂 Please post at @sbrajesh’s site at BuddyDev.com and check if that’s something he would like to add in his free/premium version.

I’m thinking about paying someone to take the forked / updated version and wrapping it so it can be pushed to the wp-repo so I can trust using the newer better version.
