KeymasterIf you’re using the bundled group forums that come with BuddyPress, modify the /groups/single/forum/topic.php template.
If you’re using bbPress 2.0, try asking over at the bbpress.org forums.

@mercime
Participant@a-swede-in-greece there are two BuddyPress Media plugins which have own forums
– BP Media plugin -> https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-album/forum/
– BP Media Component plugin -> https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-media/ and click on support tab== blog- as well as(or) a business directory plugin which we can ad ==
I assume you mean external blogs. Try https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-links/screenshots/ or adapt it to fit to your needs.October 10, 2012 at 6:54 am #143198In reply to: Best beginning tutorials?

ParticipantPlease stop attempting to add an emotive interpretation to my last comment or any comments I may make, if I were actually ‘Angry’ it would be very clearly so, also as for your assertion that I’m critical without ever actually helping you that is again not really fair, I have attempted to point out the difficulty in helping on any of your threads due to this language barrier.
I have close to a decades worth of forum experience and in that time have helped many non english speakers, when absolutely necessary tools such as google translate have been used to pretty good success, yet it seems not here? which i’m finding surprising
I notice that your other thread as had a title revision and content clarity added, it makes more sense now; did you do that?

ParticipantThanks. I am using the “BuddyPress Default” theme and tested with all plugins activated to no avail.
I’m wondering if it’s because we have this self hosted with nginx instead of apache (so the default .htaccess is being ignored). I’m not sure how the forum redirect works though so it’s hard for me to trouble shoot

LabSecrets
ParticipantWe’ve found and verified this bug, and have a solution. Easiest way to see it is to watch our video at:
http://labzip.com/the-definitive-guide-to-buddypress-bbpress-configuration/In sum: When doing a default BuddyPress / bbPress install, the original bb-config.php file needs to be deleted, and then toggle the “allow group forums” checkbox in the Settings/BuddyPress setup menu, followed finally by going and choosing to “install group forums” (again) in Settings/BuddyPress/Forums menu. All easy to see step by step in this video.
Cheers!

Participant@forfurure Across all you posts to date it’s increasingly apparent that there is a real problem in being able to help you, I doubt now that this is really an issue with language translation, as I doubt that in any language translated or otherwise that this title makes any sense.
Please stop and read you posts back before submitting and consider whether they make sense and present questions that we can understand and help with, and as mentioned on technical forums the title must reflect the nature of the problem / issue.

Participant== it breaks my whole site and everything is inactive. ==
@alexcurrie123 Haven’t heard bbPress bringing down a site before. BP/WP versions? Single/Multisite install? Windows/Linux?
– Have you checked whether it’s a plugin conflict by deactivating other plugins?
– Try deactivating BuddyPress, install/activate bbPress plugin, then activate BuddyPress.October 6, 2012 at 7:50 pm #143081@mercime
ParticipantYou will be creating two new files, header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php
If you’ve revised any of the BP template files transferred to your modernize theme folder in server during the BP Compatibility process, please delete the 6 BP folders transferred to your modernize theme folder in server – /activity, /blogs, /forums, /members, /groups, /register – then re-run Appearance > BP Compatibility again to make sure that you have clean template files.

Participant@Virtuali — thanks your comment worked for me — I was having the same problem as @cmroybal. Reinstalling wordpress would have been awful. I did have to uncheck enable forums for that specific group though and then re-enable it after deleting the specific group forum file in the database. Thanks a bunch!
