Hi there.
I am using a tabbed registration page to show a custom group of profile fields upon account creation. Everything works well: the tabbed browsing, the display of the fields, etc.
The problem is, when I click submit, it only submits the second tab ( the last group of fields ).
In other words. There are the basic infos about the account, at left, then, at right, the two tabs ( extended profile and custom group ). When I click submit, it only submits the basic account fields and the custom group field. Not the extended profile fields ( on the first tab ).
I’m using the latest versions.

I want to allow access to members list of private groups to all logged in users.

Im uisng latest versions of bb press, buddypress and wordpress
i have gone to settings and tried to fix this but it doesnt change anything…also the forum index page is now the travel forum despite having default forum checked in settings. I have tried repair forums but it did not work. You can view all this at digitalnomadcommunity from the forum dropdown

We’re using WP 3.6 and BuddyPress 1.8.1. I just received a reply private message written from one member (user B) to another (user A) at my site admin email account (webmaster@)
This is the first time this has happened. I’ve not knowingly configured anything to make that happen. Also, I didn’t see the previous private message from user A to user B. Did something change in a recent release of BP or is there a database corruption somewhere?

I was running 1.7.2 and I just spontaneously discovered that the Messages component isn’t work. It shows the Members page that as an ordinary WP page with the title and blank content field.
The meta title is still there: “*username* | Private Messages | *sitename*”.In response to this oddity I decided to update BP to 1.8.1, thinking perhaps WP changed substantially. This move did nothing for me except shift around my work schedule.
I’ve been changing things, but only on the template level and installing plugins. I switched to the theme we used when I knew PMs were working with no luck either. Does this mean my issue may be a plugin?
I recently had a problem with my BP URLs caused by God-knows-what. I solved the issue by changing permalinks to IDs and then back to “Post Name”. That usually does the trick.

I would like to have somekind of a “groups manager” for members in their user admin area as tab, and maybe also in the groups page, so they can control to which group they belong to, with checkboxes.
I want to be able to select which groups they can manage with manager “public” or “private”, if public is selected to be used for group manager then the “leave group” button shoud be removed from Public groups in the groups page, and make them use the “group manager” to add or remove public groups.
Members should be able to “join group” and “leave group” with button only for private groups.
Any ideas?

Is there a way to select which user role can create which type of groups?
I would like to:
1. Disable creation of PUBLIC groups for all members
2. Allow creation of PRIVATE groups only for specific user roleAny ideas?
