PLEASE HELP!! I Installed buddypress. Unfortunately registration and activate are not working: The pages where to it directs do not present the registration or activate page: Instead it gives: Not Found.
I tried: using different themes, deleting and re-installing the theme, stopping all othter plugins. Nothing works.
I use the videopro theme. I cannot make a registration-page using buddypress. I already changed the settings to anyone can register.
The pages members, Activity and Groups do work.
Please help.
Kind Regards
AntonHi,
I want to get rid of the account section part in the registration form and replace it with the Legacy/normal install.
Please advice!
I activated the login page for BuddyPress and now I cannot log into my site at all as an admin. I keep being redirected to register a new user account instead.
There is no admin login option anymore, even on the backend, I am redirected to the BuddyPress new user registration page with this link:
I can’t post blogs or access my eCommerce store to fulfill orders. Please help!
Our website is not soleyl for Buddy Press. A part of it is, in a community area.
How do I set it so all the BP pages (activity etc) are locked down, until a person signs up?And are there any moderation we can set, to ‘confirm’ a signup, ensuring no dodgy emails.
Thanks.
Topic: User statistics
Hello, I am looking for a plugin or anything else where I can track:
– number of new user registrations
– number of active users
– average time spent by members
and similar ones …
I was really trying to find something but without access so far.Hello, we are a page with a couple of admins. All of them receive the email once a new user registers. Is there any possibility to avoid that all of them receive the email?
We have a problem where we are designing the website, but we want to ‘hold back’ the site until it live, but this creates and issue with the Registration page.
I’ve seen this:
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/registration-link-redirects-to-home-page/But this means we have to sign out… then go through all the code *while signed out*, and site enabled, to design it or do coding.
Is this correct, or is there a way to enable Register page, when logged in??

Topic: Widget verbergen
Dear
Is there a possibility to hide a widget on the registration form.
I can hide or show a widget on all pages except the registration page. Thanks in advance
GreetingsHi,
I’m clueless why you set the default value of the password visibility input to “visible” in the registration form, instead of the other way around- like the rest of the planet is doing.
So here goes, how do I set the default password input visibility button to hide the users input of password… e.g. so it behaves like the default WordPress login behavior. Pressing a key, it blinks and gets hidden.
I appreciate;
1. An explanation
2. Help to achieve which shouldn’t needed to be asked for- it is major security issue that should be resolved asap) the above
3. Why is https://buddydev.com/buddypress-better-registration-part-1-remove-full-name-confirm-password-from-buddypress-registration/ this not working with Nouveau? Can you please explain how to make it work with Nouveau.Thank you for a great plugin, and look forward to prompt replay!
Hi,
I have created an xfield dropdown menu for country and i would like the users to join a matching group upon registration.
There’s some topics about this dated way back but all of the suggested plugins are dead.
Could somebody help me with this? I’m using latest WordPress and Buddypress.
Best Regards,
JHi there. I did a fresh install using the NEW 2021 theme and when I installed Buddypress fist time ever the registration page DOES NOT SHOW the password field.
I finally changed the theme to 2020 and the password field was indeed displayed.
I am in love with the 2021 theme, is there a quick fix for this. I could really use the help. I am very excited to get BuddyPress up and running together with the 2021 theme. Thank You. James
