Topic: Notification & Masseges icon
Does anyone know how to input a notification and messages icon within a standard WordPress menu bar and keep its functionality?
Hello!
Im trying to get out the buddypress menu from the wordpress toolbar and put it on a another menu on my website. My theme it shows a “login in” button on the top right corner, and there is a menu button too but this button dissapears slowly (with some javascript I supposed) and only shows the admin toolbar if a user is logged in.
I want to change that.
I want the admin toolbar out.
(I had change the theme. Same results, except the javascript thing). Also, I want to edit the links in the menu too and add other links not related to buddypress.
Thanks a lot!!!
I am having problem in my Buddypress Group where group admins cannot send invites.
Group admin can enter the Invite Members page, select members to invite, then clicked on Send Invites link with number of members to invite. Then a form appears to enter optional messages. Upon clicking the Send button there, a red alert shows that “Invitation failed for (number) users”. On buddypress version 6, the message was “You are not allowed to send invitations for this group”.This happens on multilingual installation of WordPress (using WPML) and not selecting the default (English) language. If I choose English, the problem does not happen. I do translate some of the words there for non english version, but could it be the source of the problem?
Upon debugging into function bp_nouveau_ajax_send_group_invites(), it seems that function bp_get_current_group_id() and $_POST[group_id] both returns group_id = 0
Any idea on how i could fix this?
current version:
wordpress: 5.6
buddypress: 7.1.0Hi,
I’m clueless why you set the default value of the password visibility input to “visible” in the registration form, instead of the other way around- like the rest of the planet is doing.
So here goes, how do I set the default password input visibility button to hide the users input of password… e.g. so it behaves like the default WordPress login behavior. Pressing a key, it blinks and gets hidden.
I appreciate;
1. An explanation
2. Help to achieve which shouldn’t needed to be asked for- it is major security issue that should be resolved asap) the above
3. Why is https://buddydev.com/buddypress-better-registration-part-1-remove-full-name-confirm-password-from-buddypress-registration/ this not working with Nouveau? Can you please explain how to make it work with Nouveau.Thank you for a great plugin, and look forward to prompt replay!
Hi,
I have created an xfield dropdown menu for country and i would like the users to join a matching group upon registration.
There’s some topics about this dated way back but all of the suggested plugins are dead.
Could somebody help me with this? I’m using latest WordPress and Buddypress.

-TimTopic: Buddypress activity ads add
I use a social networking platform via buddypress on my website. I want to add google ads under member events. I used the advanced ads ad plugin. I got a successful result. Is it possible to handle this with a few codes? For example, I want an advertisement at the end of the 1st post and then repeat it in 5 posts. Have someone to Install Assistant?

Old buddypress selected in buddypress settings.I have just started to get a message on updraft
“Warning: Your WordPress installation has a problem with outputting extra whitespace. This can corrupt backups that you download from here.”
I have identified the issue arises with Buddypress plug in. I have deleted and reinstalled Buddypress, but not change the issue.
Is there a fix for this please?
Thanks Grahame

wordpress 5.6Hello!
I have a question about groups.
I searched for this question and did not find any matching questions.I’m also new to wordpress/buddypress, so please bear with me 🙂
Here is my site https://uwcnorthyork.ca/
WordPress version: 5.4.2
BuddyPress version: 2.3.0My question is:
When a user requests permission to join a group, is there a way to get an email sent to the moderator of that group, (so they can accept them)?
Right now the email goes to the site admin (me) which is ok, but its important that it goes to the moderator as well. If it can only go to one of these, then I would like it to be the moderator.Any help would be appreciated.
I am using a customize theme. I don’t have any custom functions in bp-custom.php. Yes I know forum support is limited where third party themes are concerned but I can’t fix it.
here is my buddypress activity page https://www.upsozluk.com/etkinlik/
How can I fix the gap? There is no problem in mobile version of my website, but only computers have this space problem. i am using the latest version of wordpressThanks!!
I am using BuddyPress 5.1.2 and WordPress 5.3.6.
The link “groups” at a user profile shows correctly the number of groups the user belongs to but if clicked it sends the user to the “all groups” page instead of a page that shows only the groups the user belongs to.
The same happens when clicking “members” on a group page, instead of showing all the members of that particular group, it shows every member that exists on the site.
