Topic: Turkish Help !!!
I have problems I can speak Turkish buddypress please help a friend, you can speak Turkish !!!!!!!!
Hello, is there or is it possible to have a limitation to filter the content, e.g. by a custom field ?
I mean
I plan to build a community for french speakers (france, belgium, luxembourg).
I would like to set different subdomains (be.mysite.org, fr.mysite.org, lu.mysite.org).
The main website (www.mysite.org) would show content from all countries; but if you go on one of the subdomain, it would filter the entire content (members, groups, messages…) to the selected country only.
It would be really better than have one buddypress for each country…
The country would be defined by a custom field of the profile.
Possible ?
Thanks !
Topic: Multiple BP Integration…
Hi All,
I am currently roughing through a WPMU/Buddypress install. As I am tracking through what I am doing I am wondering if I might be going to far so i thought I would ask the forum and see what response I got back.
For my site I want to provide information about upcomming events in different cities (simple WP blog functionality), past events will include pic galleries and audio podcasts (basic plugins for WP), I want people to create a profile on the site (WPMU only?), that includes custom info for alerts and updates for future (buddypress?), and users can integrate their facebook/twitter accounts (buddypress plugins).
Does that sound right?
We’re seriously considering adding https://rpxnow.com/how_it_works to our checkout process when we launch. This would enable us to have users checkout of our cart while simultaneously creating an account with our billing and support software, creating an account on our MU install #1 where we build and host the client’s website and creating an account on our MU install #2 where our Buddypress / bppress install lives, so clients can access the community and forums.
Any feedback on any technical obstacles or issues we might need to be aware of appreciated if you have experience with RPX / Buddypress! Thanks.
I am running BuddyPress 1.0.2 on a WPMU 2.7.1 installation. The site is http://blogpeoria.com
The avatars that members upload are not showing up anyplace other than their profile pages.
For example: On this member’s site: http://hipkat.blogpeoria.com the avatar he is trying to display in the sidebar on his site is broken. The image is supposed to be: “http://blogpeoria.com/avatar/blog-1963-128.png”
But there is no “avatar” folder, http://blogpeoria.com/avatar/
I found the avatar folder with this image seems to be located at
“wp-content/avatars/blog/c21/blog-1963-128.png”
Member’s uploaded avatars are not displaying in comments or in the sitewide recent comments or sitewide recently updates blogs either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
