Also it depend of your css code but it can be useful to put this in your member theme’s stylesheet (base or your custom stylesheet).

Then create a profile field group named “My Ebay listings” and a profile field like ebay username and you’re done!
I’m having a nightmare in getting the Buddypress Home Theme to display. I continue to get my default WP theme. All BP widgets work in this theme, but it still isnt the BP Home theme. I suspect I’m missing a trick with WP Mu config rather than BP itself, anyone have a clue as to how Iresolve thsi?

Topic: Admin bar mouseover issue
I am facing this issue with firefox3
this is related to the timeout for mouseover action of the admin bar.
Whenever i try to select any menu item (say friends from my account) the menu just vanishes/closes. Its the case with the host site buddypress.org as well…
its just that the timeout value for javascript looks to be set to some greater value.
Does anybody know whr this settings can be changed?

I just say: WOW! Really nice! I am almost depressed that our site doesn’t look as great as this after all that work… (I thought ours is much nicer than the default buddypress-theme, but this one is another league!).
PS: As far as I got, there are some nice little changes (without plugins I guess) like friends & groups small and clean on the left, etc etc). Cool stuff. Please share, how it’s done
Hi all, this is not a strictly bp question but a MU one, but i think it should be very useful for buddypressers.
I need to write a condition:
if (this blog is the main blog) do this
else
(do another thing)
it is possibile to detect if a blog is the main blog?

Thanks for your responses folks. Allow me to explain my query a bit in more depth –
Existing Site:
Exists since last 4-5 years; created by an amature web designer using php-mysql. The fella is refusing to cooperate and all I have is access to .sql dumps of individual tables of the existing database.
The current website only provides simple functionality to accept data from users through a form [typical form consisting of First Name, Last Name, Year of Graduation, Branch, Phone Number, Email ID, Current Employer, Profession etc.).
What I have done so far:
Created a WPMU powered site on my computer using XAMPP installation. Before I take it to the Internet, I’ll have to present a demo to my college. For that, I need to import the data of existing users from existing database to WPMU database.
To keep the things simple, I have replicated the input fields of existing website into my WPMU site.
Problem:
I want to have all the old information imported to my new WPMU database so that the old users do not have to re-register on the new website.
What I’m thinking:
If I can import the .sql dumps from existing database tables (I have individual table backups!) to WPMU tables.
What do you think? Is there a better way to solve the problem? Please suggest.
PS: I love WPMU & Buddypress. Awesome creation, guys!
