I recall this same issue was caused by plugin/s related to Activity streams. @vaas have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one or batch by batch except BuddyPress to check which one is causing the issue?

@ramirocastro have you tried re-uploading BuddyPress manually via s/FTP for example? Looks like some files have not been uploaded completely. If that doesn’t work, WP/BP versions, single WP or multisite? If MS, BP in domain root or in subdirectory/subdomain?

@number_6 you can change “Your Friends” widget title in sidebar.php and sidebar-buddypress.php files in your theme. Please clarify, not quite sure what the issue is per image you attached which is not related to widgets at all.

@curt-ri as hnla mentioned above, you should be on BP 1.7 now. But if you still want BP 1.6.5 click on this link, download to your computer and unzip the file. Upload /buddypress/ folder within

@tibmix not sure why, there are too many variables involved. WP/BP versions? If BP 1.6.5 or BP 1.7, are you using bbPress plugin for your forums – sitewide or group forums? If you deactivate BuddyPress, are your issues with bbPress forums resolved?

@2dca could be theme conflict. Change to BP Default theme and check if issue is resolved.
